Grave

Grave is a Swedish death metal band formed in 1986 (initially as Corpse) and later based in Visby, Gotland. They adopted the name Grave by 1988 and became key figures of the Swedish death metal movement. Their debut album, Into the Grave (1991), was released on Century Media and is regarded as a classic. Vocalist/guitarist Ola Lindgren has long served as the band’s leader; early member Jörgen Sandström later joined Entombed and Krux.
