"I am a false prophet and God is a superstition."

"A furious denunciation of the modern apathy that has also affected music, emptying it of that evocative power it had in the past."

Algiers’ debut album displays remarkable maturity with a bold fusion of gospel, punk, and electronic rhythms. Franklin James Fisher’s expressive vocals embody a modern preacher, delivering a raw critique of societal and musical apathy. The album captivates through its intense themes and dynamic soundscape, breaking traditional rock clichés. Standout tracks like 'Black Eunuch' and 'Blood' highlight its unique, emotionally charged style. Explore Algiers’ intense debut for a powerful fusion of gospel, punk, and social commentary. Listen now and experience their unique sound!

Great personality in the voice, which didn’t appear in the previous work, almost as if there was a fear of 'overstepping,' and here instead it touches expressive chords that I would like to hear more often.

The album flows, quickly and smoothly, without faltering over time (a rare commodity these days) and carries you to the finale, colored by some swaying and asymmetric violins.

Philip Selway's Weatherhouse is a reflective and carefully crafted solo album that requires patience to appreciate fully. Moving beyond his previous work, Selway showcases greater vocal confidence and intricate arrangements. The album offers a smooth and immersive listening experience with highlights like 'Coming Up For Air' and 'It Will End In Tears.' It appeals to Radiohead fans and lovers of thoughtful singer-songwriter music. Dive into Philip Selway’s Weatherhouse and experience a beautifully crafted album that reveals its depth with time and patience.

It’s not a perfect album, but it doesn’t want to be.

Listening to it made me at peace with myself again. It made me feel at home.

Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes marks a warm, intimate return for Thom Yorke, shedding some of the coldness of his past solo projects. The album blends electronic experimentation with natural moments, creating a spontaneous and imperfect work that feels familiar yet fresh. Songs like "A Brain In a Bottle" and "Guess Again!" stand out, showcasing heartfelt vocals and rich textures. Overall, the album offers a sense of comfort and homecoming. Listen to Thom Yorke’s Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes and experience its warm, intimate electronic journey today.

Definitely more electronic and straightforward compared to the Lips’ work, repetitive rhythmic lines and straight bass.

Inside, you’ll find the usual lysergic guitar riffs, like the psycho-groove ride "Transform!!!" and the cover of "Heart of the Sunrise" by Yes.

Electric Würms’ album Musik, die Schwer zu Twerk is a side project blending psychedelic guitar riffs, electronic beats, and prog rock influences. It offers a more straightforward and electronic sound compared to Flaming Lips’ work, featuring collaborations with musicians like Steve Howe. The album includes notable tracks such as the psych-groove 'Transform!!!' and a cover of Yes’ 'Heart of the Sunrise.' With experimental and repetitive rhythms, this release showcases a fresh but reminiscent sound. Explore Electric Würms’ unique psychedelic electronic fusion – listen now and experience the experimental rhythms!

The word "experimental" is, I would say, an excellent advertising gimmick.

Not such an experimental record, here it is, definitely one of the best of his latest productions.

The review highlights Franco Battiato's unique blend of electronic and orchestral music on 'Joe Patti's Experimental Group'. It explores the mystical themes and the significant involvement of sound engineer Pinaxa. Posthumous absence of lyricist Manlio Sgalambro shifts focus to instrumental depth. The album evokes cosmic and ethereal atmospheres, revisiting earlier works with a modern twist. Ultimately, it's praised as a strong addition to Battiato's recent output. Dive into Franco Battiato's mystical soundscape—listen to Joe Patti's Experimental Group now!

I like to imagine them on the beach, under a straw umbrella with the obligatory mojito in hand... zero stress... fantasies?

See Me Now is a great track... a little gem, in short.

Although they resort to the same minimalist aesthetic as the fathers of Düsseldorf... they know how to hold the stage much better.

Pet Shop Boys' Electric marks a strong return to dancefloor beats after the more somber Elysium. Produced by Stuart Price, it captures the duo's classic synthpop sound with top-tier production.  It is a continuous flow with Stereolab, you can’t stop to reflect, to understand what is happening, to linger on details.

In my opinion, Emperor Tomato Ketchup stands as one of the most successful works of the Nineties, with its surgical perfection in balancing rhythmic inventiveness and melodic experimentation.

Stereolab's 'Emperor Tomato Ketchup' delivers an unstoppable rhythmic flow paired with intricate melodies and thoughtful lyrics. The album is celebrated for its perfect tracklist continuity and subtle orchestral touches. Vocal performances by Laetitia Sadier and the late Mary Hansen add emotional depth.  They are the band that has best interpreted the musical lesson of the 21st century: 'revive from the past, fill it with modernity, and deliver a trendy sound as the final product'.

The sounds are all incredibly spot on... a concoction of sounds that couldn’t be more beautiful and presented in their perfect entirety.

MGMT’s self-titled album nails a stylish fusion of 70s psychedelia and modern pop trends. Some tracks revisit familiar territory, while others venture into experimental sounds. The production by Dave Fridmann is praised for its rich, polished textures. Although the album shows skill and creativity, it may not fully satisfy more discerning or progressive listeners. Overall, the album sits on the borderline between trendsetting and nostalgia. Explore MGMT's blend of psychedelic revival and modern trends—listen to the album and decide where you stand!

An uneasy album, especially in the era of global crisis and the collapse of society’s values.

"Much of this was recorded live, yet it is not a live album."
