A hand grenade. 27 minutes of pure devastation.

One of the most destructive and extreme albums of the new millennium.

The Virus's 2002 album 'Nowhere To Hide' is a 27-minute assault of pure street punk energy and aggression. The band's lineup delivers fast tempos and sharp riffs, defying the need for over-the-top grind or brutal elements. Tracks like 'Already Dead' and 'So Long' showcase precision and ferocity, while songs like 'Heroes' and 'Rats in the City' add melody without losing intensity. This album stands out as a seminal extreme punk work of the new millennium. Listen now to 'Nowhere To Hide' and experience one of the fiercest street punk albums ever made!

It’s clear how a project that commercializes itself easily loses credibility, but Mala Reputación couldn’t care less and self-produce with autonomy.

The strongest track is the title song 'Ansiedad,' a melodic tune akin to Bad Religion, showcasing the band's potential and energy.

Mala Reputación's debut album Ansiedad offers an original blend of melodic punk and classic rock with unique instruments like mandolins and violins. Despite lo-fi production and occasional flaws, the band delivers energetic performances and thoughtful songwriting. Their independent approach and local roots add credibility and charm. Fans of less commercial punk will find the album a worthwhile listen. Listen to Mala Reputación's Ansiedad and explore a fresh blend of punk and classic rock from Spain's underground scene!

A special mention should be made for the excellent 'Fuck Authority', a typical anthem that immediately stands out.

The impression is of a product that’s quite weak as a whole, with little power, little speed.

Pennywise's sixth album, Land Of The Free?, marks a clear political stance with anti-Bush and anti-war themes. Musically, it stays true to their melodic hardcore roots, though with varying success. Some tracks like 'Fuck Authority' and 'Divine Intervention' stand out, while others feel weak or uninspired. The album is recommended for punk rock fans, especially during a period crowded by more commercial acts. Dive into Pennywise's Land Of The Free? and explore its powerful punk messages and energetic anthems now!

"If only it had come out 10 years ago, 'Mezzanine' and 'Dummy' would have trembled!"

"Menacing and grim atmosphere, bursts of pain, depressing chords, obsessive beats, disturbing samples... all stylistic choices that made him the most unusual beatmaker in Hip Hop history."

The album is filled with more or less trivial songs... they are of a shocking anonymity and blandness.

If breaking into the mainstream means ruining everything good that was built during the long grind... then I would have been better off stopping at the listen of the beautiful I'm Yours and that's it.

The reviewer was initially captivated by 'I'm Yours' but found the album overall bland and overly commercial. While production is excellent and some tracks are enjoyable, many songs feel anonymous and uninspired. The older acoustic versions are preferred, and the album's success is seen as a compromise of earlier artistic quality. Discover the full review and decide if Jason Mraz's album lives up to the hype or falls short!

Such is the case of the "The World Is Not Enough" remix curated by the well-known U.N.K.L.E project, or the "Milk" version signed by none other than Massive Attack.

The melancholic and gray halo that pervades it is abundantly felt in all 14 songs; it is up to the listener to understand it, make it their own, and not classify it as the usual syrupy and predictable product.

'Wholeness And Separation' is at times easy listening, at times closed and well-boxed in its genre, sometimes committed and experimental, with fair strokes of genius.

Halou’s 2006 album 'Wholeness And Separation' offers a richly layered and melancholic blend of trip hop, electronica, and dream pop. Featuring Rebecca Coseboom’s ethereal vocals and inventive production, it recalls greats like Portishead and Garbage but maintains a unique avant-garde edge.
