Wonder for a wonderful record
LUCIO BATTISTI NEGLI STUDI DI RADIO MONTE CARLO (RMC) - VERSIONE INTERA

A few days ago, I took the trouble to note all the artists' names mentioned by Lucio in this wonderful conversation from 1969. Some of these he considers fundamental for his artistic development, while for others, he wanted to express his admiration.

The Beatles
The Rolling Stones
The Mamas & The Papas
Moody Blues
Procol Harum
The Box Tops
Doors
Elvis Presley
Bob Dylan
Donovan
Ray Charles
Otis Redding
Stevie Wonder
Aretha Franklin
José Feliciano
Georges Moustaki
Peter Sarstedt
Camaleonti
Dik Dik
Equipe 84
Domenico Modugno
Gian Pieretti
Umberto Bindi
Gino Paoli
Patty Pravo
Ray Charles - Good love gone bad

Masterpiece, too bad it was never recorded like this.
Endless applause at the end of the performance.
ANDY GIBB - ''WAITING FOR YOU'' (1978)

He was about to join the group. His older brothers had finally convinced him. But his time had come, at just 30 years old. Three albums released, music full of colors and joy, exactly what music should be: an extraordinary manifestation of happiness.
Olivia Newton-John - Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee (Reprise) (Grease)

Grease is an underrated movie. Yes, underrated. There’s no need to turn up your nose: this adjective is often misused. Grease is a commercial film, but commercial does not mean overrated. In fact, just because it’s commercial and known by everyone, it is often labeled as a simple musical with four catchy tunes for summer dances. Instead, Grease is a truly great film. The story, the screenplay, the cinematography, the performances of the entire cast, from the leads to the lesser characters. I recently rewatched it and realized how well-made it truly is. A cult classic, commercial, widely recognized, but underrated.

Dedicated to a singer and actress I have always felt very close to, who left us yesterday after three decades of fighting the most terrible of evils. Goodbye Sandra Dee.
Zucchero - Follow You Follow Me

What do you think of ZUCCHERO?

For me, he's an artist who has built his fortune on covers and various plagiarisms.. even though he's surrounded by good musicians.
George Michael - Cowboys and Angels (Audio)

High-class music for one of the most beautiful voices in contemporary music
Passionfruit

When it comes to light music and chart-toppers, I think this is one of the most beautiful international pieces of the last decade.
Mango e Laura Valente - Chissà se nevica (Festival di Sanremo 2007)

A masterpiece, a goosebumps performance. Sanremo with a capital S.
La mente torna - Mina

My favorite by Mina along with Ancora Ancora Ancora

Great Lucio..
Rino Gaetano - I miei sogni d'anarchia

In his dreams, I also found a bit of myself.
Ivan Graziani - Cleo

What is, in your opinion, Ivan's best album?
Phil Collins - Against All Odds (Live Aid 1985)

A piano, an intense melody, a voice recognizable among a million. One of the most beautiful performances of that big concert.
Flavio Giurato - L'oriente

Afro beat at a certain point
