The Unconventional Images and Sounds of Samson Young | Brilliant Ideas Ep. 37
Alright. Nothing to do, I want to reflect and surprise (or scandalize) you yesterday with an example of 'extremely popular acoustic crap' with a track from Maroon 5; today, just a few days before the Vernissage of the Venice International Art Biennale, I present to you from Hong Kong, Samson Young, an emerging sound artist who will be present with 'abrasive' works and performances using music and sounds as tools for political reflection in front of the entrance of the Arsenale (the Biennale has two main venues: the main one is in the 'Giardini,' the other is in the historical-industrial area of the Arsenale). Campo della Tana, Biennale, Venice from May 13 to November 26. I will be at the vernissage with a 'press invitation' and if I survive the three days of presentations of 87 pavilions of the participating countries, I'll tell you something...
Maroon 5 - Cold ft. Future
Don't throw stones at me, but a little bit of Maroon 5 every now and then...
Five Finger Death Punch - Wash It All Away (Explicit)
FFDP! Can anyone give me news about this band that I really like? Anyway, if I lived in Nevada, I would scream like Ivan Moody...
AL STEWART "Time Passages"
1978 and 2017. Past and present; Alan Parson at the helm and Al Stewart singing and writing: another Scot who with his poetic imagination captivates your soul and creates that little corner in your present that is part of rock history.
Un'analisi a dir poco perfetta. Fa molto... - Universitari di Venezia
If you were born in the West after 1980, you are a Millennial or Echo Boomer, 10 minutes - even less - for a bit of pop psychology analysis... congratulations.

Jackie sta semplicemente sfrecciando via
Doo do doo, doo do doo, doo do doo
Life: Videos | Sony Pictures
How scary!
Anyway, on the island I would bring all the versions of 'Alien' directed by the great Ridley Scott, with the unbeatable Hans Ruedi Giger, the artist who created the terrifying little monster (while waiting to see the latest 'Alien: Covenant'). Instead, no zombie movies; I might die of fear!
The Eagles I CAN'T TELL YOU WHY Live (Video Inedito en you tube)
Everyone has their obsessions; mine is this, the Eagles. Listening to them brings back memories of that part of the States that I loved the most and had always dreamed of seeing. Hearing 'Bitter Creek' sung by Bernie Leadon makes me picture the West of the USA, where I bought those brown boots that I still wear after all these years. Anyway, not all Americans are what you would expect them to be... in short, I feel good in Europe, and I travel to the rest of the world, a bit here and a bit there. Olè.
Kings Of Convenience - Boat Behind "2013 Seoul Jazz Festival"
Two Norwegians in Korea (South Korea, of course)
Tunisia, una tesi riscrive le teorie dell'universo secondo il Corano: "La Terra è piatta" - Repubblica Tv - la Repubblica.it
Ahhhhahhhh, scientists of the world, convinced that you are walking on a flat Earth, listen up: your belief is about to be confirmed directly by a Tunisian university thesis! The problem is no longer about the sphericity of the Earth but of a practical nature: who will tell the 15,422 satellites orbiting Earth that they are going off course?
Coldplay - Hypnotised (Official Lyric Video)

Almost 20 million hypnotized (sorry that @[algol] is down here, let's hope they don't get upset!)
EAGLES TEQUILA SUNRISE
When working with the background music of the Eagles, time flies.
Looking back on Charles and Ray Eames’ De Pree House | ArchDaily
A green and shady island with clear, blue skies by day; at night, an indigo blue blanket dotted with stars. In the morning, a fresh breeze scented with green leaves and underbrush flowers awakens you, while in the evening, the breeze carries the salty scent of the sea, bringing you back to the boundary between earth and sky. The house I would design on this island would feature large, airy vaulted windows, plenty of wood, and local raw stones in some areas, especially around the fireplace. The walls and iron frames would be only white, in order not to disturb or distract the eyes from the colors of the external nature. A centrally located glass room extending to full height would house an indoor garden, including a Ficus benjamina evergreen tree. Bookshelves and colorful cushions on white fabric sofas in the living area, and outside, wicker chairs for reading and relaxing in the shade. Music would be audible throughout the island to accompany the different moments of the day, with internet connection to DeBaser. An easel and paints would be available for artistic inspiration. For lunch, breakfast, and dinner, a subscription to theFork, with a welcome variation from the restaurant 'Il barcaiolo' in Taormina. Visits and various advertisements are not accepted.
18 incredibili infrastrutture che cambieranno volto al mondo – Business Insider Italia
Poor us, in Venice the foolish are struggling to eliminate the problem of concretion at the joints of the submerged barriers of the MOSE... then you see and read what they are starting around the world in terms of infrastructure and you wonder where our Roman engineer-builders who invented concrete more than 2000 years ago have gone, the Venetian sailor-builders who created a city on water over 1000 years ago, not to mention all the other wonders that have been built in our extraordinary country, including big and small islands, and then I remember a genius like Leonardo da Vinci who has no equals in the world, or a genius like Michelangelo, a poet like Dante, and then Titian, Giorgione, Palladio - yes, I'm a bit biased - up to the present day with an architect-engineer like Renzo Piano - no offense to everyone else, but to mention all the geniuses, poets, artists, musicians, etc. from our country would require an encyclopedia! In short, is there no one left today?
The King of the beasts - Wildlife Capture

Official Love Like Aliens Short Film HD
ALIENS SAPIENS. In these weeks I am focusing on prehistory, from the first hominids to Homo sapiens sapiens – as we still call ourselves today – spanning millions of years of evolution. The stone age, and thus the age of metals, lasted hundreds of thousands of years, but only in the last ten thousand have we rapidly transitioned from stone working to computers, and this seemingly long period is just a tiny moment in our presence on the planet.
For this reason, I am fascinated by everything that accelerates the vision of a near future I would like to see: hurry, hurry... because on the horizon, I see only wars and conflicts. And I have a doubt: is this how we will live and continue to transfer our warlike spirit into the Universe?
THE VIDEO. 空山基 Sorayama Hajime is a Japanese illustrator and artist; he has won Japan's Grand Prize, the most prestigious design award in Japan, and has a permanent exhibition at the MOMA in New York and the Smithsonian Institute Museum USA. He is also part of a group of 25 Japanese artists for Nike's White Dunk Project. This animated and 3D short film titled 'Love Like Aliens' was created in Tokyo by director Rashad Haughton, with the song performed by Everett Bradley; if you want more, there's also this link: Wonderstanding | Rashad Haughton | Love Like Aliens | Muga Shozoku
