Richard Thompson - "What's Left To Lose" [Official Audio] @[imasoulman] still hanging around here? I was just listening to the new album by Sir Richard, the old nobleman.
White Blues Hello, ugly bastards!
Acqua Fragile - Comic Strips (1973) Guys, I'm having a doubt... But were Canavera, Lanzetti, and the gang back then really devouring the Gentle Giant records? Just asking, you know.
What's Going On aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaHHHHHHHH
Barrytown One of my favorites from the Logic of Pretzel.
Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM) - Jet Lag before flowing into a beautiful Jazz-(prog)-Rock/Fusion enriched by Lanzetti's voice, this track is definitely a "What if one of Chapman or Gabriel had sung in Gentle Giant?"
Grail Since we're at it @[musicalrust]
Paper Charms My favorite by PFM, audaciously international, with an extra Lanzetti that makes a difference, both for his powerful and charismatic vocals—this chapmanian disciple—and for the singing in English.
Un giorno, un amico I really like this album a lot (apart from the lyrics and the little choirs, damn... What a pity).
Genesis - Congo (Original Album Version) The ugliest song from any Genesis album, even from those albums where "ugliest" is a relative term to say "the one slightly less wonderful than the others," otherwise what's the fun in it. This album is a bit of a skeleton in my closet, in my opinion overly denigrated, a bit out of principle, for various reasons that are also understandable, which I won’t get into now otherwise it’s goodbye. I actually prefer it—quite a lot—to Intrippable Quarth and I’d also say to the album that contains the hideous abortion of Illegal Alien. Even compared to "We Can't Dance," well, it doesn’t have the high peaks of the last album with Collins, but it also doesn’t have all that garbage. Except for this one, here they give their worst as per tradition from the early '80s onwards.
Garofano Rosso This piece is awesome, even with Di Giacomo on the bench (reinforced steel bench). The Banco is the soundtrack, but it’s actually completely autonomous as an instrumental album, very very beautiful.
In Fear Of Fear (Live HP81) Live bomb. Live bomb.
Kick in the Eye It's dark, post-punk, gothic (what isn't "Hollow Hills," huh?), glam, rock'n roll, bowiebolanclaeenovelvet, dub, ska... And so we also have funky-dancy rhythms (funk has always enjoyed getting cozy with post-punk, we must say), there you go.
Bauhaus - Nerves (LYRICS ON SCREEN) 📺 "In the Flat Field" is one of those albums from which I really couldn't choose a favorite song. Still, such an epic finale definitely makes you take the record out with a satisfied grin. It has everything that concerns the emerging "Dark" scene: the neuroses of post-punk, the decadence and elegance of Glam interpreted in a gothic way, an overflowing Murphy.
Genesis - Never a time (1991) The worst song from any Genesis album, even from those albums where "worst" is a very relative term to mean "the one slightly less fabulous than the others," otherwise what's the fun? Well, usually people tend to be more generous towards "We Can't Dance" compared to the 2-3 previous albums, because it does contain, miracle, at least three excellent tracks and a couple of decent songs; too bad it’s filled with songs (CD format after all) unnecessarily loaded with songs, and stuffed with absolutely dreadful stuff. Not an easy choice given the abundance, but this one causes me profound discomfort.
Bite My Hip These four liked ska, dub, we know that, and they liked rock'n roll, glam, rockabilly, black-and-white horror iconography... They were brilliant because they hybridized all of this in the wave of post-punk experimentation, new wave, dark wave; dark wave they can be associated with in some cases, because most of the time they were doing something else. And damn, they were amazing when it came to playing even just their pure, beloved rock'n roll.
Bela Lugosi's Dead (Official Version) And that's it... We're starting over to listen to the knowledge of the Bauhaus from beginning to end.
Al Mercato Delle Pulci "History or Legend" is a nice album, perhaps just a bit too focused on slow melody tot-court... Almost, because then this comes along.
The Cramps - Goo Goo Muck (Official Audio)

@[G] and South Tyrol is leading 2-0 on the field of Benevento. Over to you.
Emerson Lake & Palmer-Hoedown Emerson, Lake & Palmer that don't annoy me (us?). Oh, it’s for things like these that I find "Trilogy" the album where they take themselves less seriously than usual and has moments of lightness that I really enjoy.
Orpheus huge disc from Silvano.
