Sgt. Pepper's is a more useless album than a factory producing dust. The best things they did were in the time just before the breakup, even though in the best tracks everything is ruined by Ringo "Brodo" Starr's clumsy drumming.

Brian Eno

I was reflecting on how foolish it is to downsize a brilliant career by averaging it out with recent performances. Eno was a member of the legendary Roxy Music, made some of the best records of the '70s (there are at least 4 masterpieces among his solo works), inspired the development of a myriad of musical genres, produced some of the most important (and beautiful) records of the new wave, and even got involved in fourth world music with Byrne and Hassell.
