The best at what they do... recently I've even come to prefer them over the good old Satyricon, who back in the days of Nemesis Divina made me ""fall in love"" with the genre.

Unforgettable voice. Fantastic woman: of a sensuality that, for me, is truly hard to surpass.

After several years, I have to say that yes, his masterpiece is truly "The Trout." A hymn to expressive freedom... really entertaining. It might be a bit too long, but songs like "Frawnland," "Ella Guru," "Dachau Blues," "Moonlight in Vermont," "China Pig," etcetera, etcetera, etcetera are now (to my ears, of course) CLASSICS. Then again, all the other albums are fantastic, so hats off to the great captain!

Ok, they are buffoons. But Eric Adams is truly the best in his field. Incredible!

A tremendous collective. Grace Slick is phenomenal (perhaps the best songwriter of the group), Marty Balin is great (I feel he is somewhat overlooked but he wrote fantastic songs), a trio of excellent musicians (Kaukonen, Cassady, Dryden) and one of the souls of the counterculture of that era (even though Kantner, as a songwriter, is the one I appreciate the least).

As a young man, he was rather ugly... now he's the spitting image of Richard Gere.

As much as I went through my black medal period, I never understood them. I realize that in the night side it might be considered beautiful... but I can't understand why.

I saw him with Strapping at a Gods of Metal...poor guy, everyone was cheering for the fantastic Gene Hoglan. At one point, he even got pissed off.
