The caricature of himself. It really broke my balls. Always the same riffs, always the same little flourishes between one verse and another from the usual singer, always the same videos with him on the pedestal and that damn little hat. ENOUGH!

I saw it live, filled with expectations. Antennas up for the first half hour, and hats off to the musicality, technique, and class. But I swear I struggled to get through it, finding it all a bit too muffled and soporific. I tried... but it's not for me.
