I'm writing these four lines just to introduce myself to the DE-Baser tribe and to know what kind of individual one sends a message to, should anyone ever do so.
Well, what can I say about myself: I live in a small town at the foot of His Majesty Etna since July 4, 1981, the date when I started to bother first my family, then gradually others who began stumbling into my existence, and now even you who are reading this window open on your monitor.
My musical stupor ended when I started university: moving to the "city" (Catania), I met a lot of guys with whom to share, exchange, burn [sshh! don't tell anyone] a huge number of CDs, which today allows me to count about 300 titles in my personal collection.
I love Radiohead, Blur, Queen, Pink Floyd, R.E.M., U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, Coldplay.
Strong inclination towards '60s and '70s music, Beatles, Velvet Underground, Iggy Pop, Jimi Hendrix, and so on.
Of Italian music, I listen with great delight to Battiato, De Andrè, Subsonica, Quintorigo, Carmen Consoli, Elio e le Storie Tese, De Gregori, Bersani, Bluvertigo.
My life philosophy is "Live and let live," trying not to take oneself too seriously, always questioning oneself, learning to make fun of oneself [and it's not a perverse auto-sodomization game!!], trying to live these about 80 passing years (if all goes well) in the best possible way, each of us chasing our own dreams.
