Dark Sanctuary Les mémoires blessées
Voto:
@nosebleed: The first time I listened to Dark Sanctuary, after the third track I thought, "whiny..." But I gave them another shot and after a couple of listens, I thanked the good Lord or whoever for letting me discover them. I appreciate their albums except for, alas, the latest one which seems monotonous to me, from the first note to the last with pauses included. I'm not saying they have to appeal to everyone, but if I were you, I would try listening to them again just to be sure. Bye bye

Do you know what the last of the Mohicans said? Wait for meeee! And the last one arrives (or maybe not, the last of the Apaches might come too, hehe) to tell you that the review is written exceptionally well as usual. It’s true that it’s a bit long, but that shows even more commitment on your part. I don’t know them at all and I will try to fill this gap. Bye bye, augh.

Usual excellent quality, with an abundance of details and a calm yet heartfelt enthusiasm. I don't know much of their work, just the beautiful "Homecoming," then "The Organ," and other things I like less, and I will immediately follow your suggestions to find great pieces from this undoubtedly talented group.

Stunning album, good review but at times it remains a bit superficial due to the generality of the adjectives. I love everything by DS except for the last album, which I found disappointing.
Comatose Vigil Not a Gleam of Hope

A great explanation of the nature and purpose of this musical genre. Personally, I stop short of these extremes, but I'm glad that in this world where pain, death, and difficulties in living are not talked about because they are taboo subjects and everyone is expected to think about having the right lifestyles blah blah preventing this and that, someone, through a music review, brings them to light. Bye bye.

Great command of language (a gift that's increasingly rare...), a lively text that keeps the reader's attention awake. The information is clear and the enthusiasm for the genre is evident. Hence, 5 stars. The brutal exceeds my threshold of tolerance; the most I can handle are a few things by Anorexia Nervosa (Tragedia Decadencia, for example), and I'm not even sure those fall under this specific genre. Bye bye.

I agree with VV's critiques, and considering that your attitude about it is balanced and constructive, I am sure your next review will be more polished; as VV says, you have the talent – you manage to convey your enthusiasm, and personally, I believe that also matters when reviewing, which is why I give you 3. The best part seems to me from "Un'opera" to "anima." I was struck by the phrase about feelings made slaves by a damned cage, a beautiful concept. I tried to listen to them, I will try again: they are fascinating but damn difficult. I will let you know, bye bye.

While complimenting you and being happy to read your review again, I share Ole's opinion; the images are beautiful but I would have left more space for the actual information. I adored this album while it seems that the other things done by the 3rd are far from the perfection of this. Bye bye.

A good review, just a bit pulled together; some additional information or consideration would have been nice, either on the individual tracks or your impressions, like the one I really liked that goes from the words "Si sottolinea" to "sottofondo". I will look for the two tracks you recommend; I know them little, I like some (Dream, Angelic), while other things leave me indifferent. Bye bye.
