Arkhamian Promo 2005

I listened to the samples, they’re really good, you know, and I really hope they give it their all to get known. So young but musically mature. I like the name more than habstract which doesn’t make sense with the h, and then Arkhamain is more exotic, the ark sounds like an ark which is welcoming, and the sound of the word is sweeter. Well, best of luck to them, let us know if they make a CD, okay?

The review is clean (clean?), well, this adjective came to mind; in short, it flows well and is well-written. You can tell that you care about sharing this information with others, and at the same time, you give a lot of indications about the genre. The abandoned field inhabited only by scarecrows on the cover seems indicative of something interesting and palatable, and personally, I hope it’s more melancholic than angry. Let’s say I’d be satisfied with a 70% and 30% balance, hehe. I’ll let you know, bye bye.

Find them on myspace as well and I like them. Thanks LL! I haven't listened to the tracks of the album you’re reviewing yet, and the 4-5 songs I know aren’t particularly profound, but certainly more than enjoyable, that is, enjoyable plus. It's worth digging deeper. Bye bye!

With all the parentheses and unnecessary quotes, like in "thickness," the reading of the review is a bit laborious. However, you say what needs to be said; the aspect related to the spectacularization, with the object-girls, is interesting. Your enthusiasm is contagious, I will go and listen to something even though I fear it’s more masked metal than gothic, but I hope not. Bye bye.

In my neck of the woods, people say "Che te lo dico a fa'?" and since I've only been here for a little while, I’ve never quite understood when to use this expression that seems to pop up out of context. Maybe one day someone will explain it to me, and in the meantime, with my 5, I feel like saying to you: "che te lo dico a fa'?" Perhaps because I've already given you compliments on your reviews several times, so to avoid repeating myself! Bye bye D.i.A. Why in August though? Why not in November?

Jillian and Somewhere are among the tracks I've loved this year, and I enjoy the whole CD starting with the enthusiastic opening attack. The WT feel fresh and genuine and full of energy, even more so here than in the other albums. So, sgrunf.

A smoothly flowing review with warm and convincing tones: with great simplicity, you manage to outline the characteristics of the group, provide the basic information and points of reference regarding well-known groups, and intrigue those attracted to this genre, like myself, so I will be looking for it. Bye bye

A bit more generic in the choice of terms (unpredictable - the misty landscapes that often appear in reviews of Nordic bands and, in the end, if you think about it, say everything and nothing...) compared to your other reviews, but all in all dense and, particularly in the third paragraph, explanatory about the album in question. Aside from "Tears Laid in Earth," which I find splendid, I’ve listened to some things here and there by the 3rd, but I haven’t yet found the equivalent of that masterpiece. I will look for the tracks you recommend. Bye bye.

A review that says what it needs to say: genre, information about the band and the meaning of the song titles, comparisons with more well-known bands, standout tracks, points of interest, limitations. Written in a clear and flowing manner, not too technical, you can catch a glimpse of the reviewer at their computer working on it! As for the band, I will listen to something that I will approach with caution, just like with all the bands that combine the melodic black metal I like with progressive and metal that I only enjoy in a few cases. Until next time.
