Excellent review that makes us feel the scent of that Mediterranean rose... of course, this is the group of the ex, Argine, Gothica, Dwelling, how restless these musicians are! But if you say the result is five stars, I will go look for them. I love melancholy, I love sadness, yes, yes, I love twilight glimpses, and if they are nocturnal, even better, and if there's a nice vampire around, great... in the boxset are the instructions for a sweet suicide hehe? Just kidding, dark music lifts my spirits, maybe it's the contrast. I look around and say "come on, don't exaggerate, this world isn't as depressing as you want me to believe!" Bye bye LL

Beautiful review Nottescura! Lively and vibrant, conversational and broad in scope despite the long track list. That "moooooolto" with seven "o" is so cute. Tiamat are undoubtedly talented, no doubt about it; "Do you dream of me" is one of the best songs I've heard this year - I know, I'm about ten years late but better late than never - however, when they dive into straight metal, I don't like them as much, especially because it seems like the songwriting suffers. Lacrimas Profundere, for example, I don’t know if you know them, can distort guitars and whatever they want, but their compositions are so beautiful that whether played on harpsichord or electric guitar + very chaotic drums, they still remain beautiful. On the other hand, the creativity of Tiamat varies in my opinion. Well, I’ll stop rambling and go do something useful for society, bye bye.

I know the German nun, I really don’t like Garbarek. My pleasure!

Heard. Well, you recite well, compliments. And if you like Rilke, I already like you more. I have a little book called "Letters to a Young Poet" in which the poet gives advice to the novice Franz Kappus (what a name!) and it’s beautiful and profound and written in a simple and elegant way. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it. Bye bye for the time being.

Who? Rainer? Rainer Maria Rilke? The Poet? But wasn’t the Poet D’Annunzio? Are the poems authored or are they yours? I don’t understand anything, is the music real or metaphorical? If you’re writing the poems, I recommend you review your grammar, “un'arpa” needs the apostrophe and “fa” doesn’t require accents. I await clarifications on the verses woven with the sublime. I am passionate about authored poetry.

So true what you say in the end, and you say it quite well. However, it’s not completely clear if you believe they have a valid future, because you claim that the premises are there but also say that inspiration is what they lack, and surely, without that, where do they go? The initial part is interesting, but look, if America was discovered by a Viking and we have plenty of documentation, the Viking went home and said, "it was a nice trip, dear," and that was it, historically speaking, who cares...? Well, aside from the digression, as you can see, there are very few of us left to comment on this kind of music alas alas... let’s hope someone else steps up! Bye bye.

Wow, what wonderful compliments! Thank you, you're too kind! You know that I really care about you (the sound of violins in the background starts) super-thank you - eheh. When I don't know how to end a speech, I just throw in an eheh and solve the problem. @LL: but you know, the album is nice; if the Verbanneten use synths instead of traditional instruments, the result is excellent. Sure, the sound will be different, but in the end, it's worth giving it a listen and testing the waters; every band is different from the other, but I think the effect they create is more than pleasant anyway. What you say about the Artesia is absolutely true; they seem like a rib that broke off from Dark Sanctuary, I’ve rarely found such an obvious resemblance. I don't know the other bands you mention, I'll make sure to check them out if they align with my favorite vibe. That Greek one... eheheheheh.

Beautiful review: reading it, I felt all the sensations you described, and soon the out-of-tune guitars were giving me an epidermal annoyance, hehe, and the continuous and relentless pulsating made me forget to breathe gulp... you write really well, congratulations. I just came by here now, after so many months since your review, so: I went on Debaser / I stumbled upon you / this rating I brought. As for the Dolorian, I will listen to something.

Hi Sly. I must have missed your review, especially since I've only recently come to know and appreciate Edenbridge. Your introduction to the band might be a bit short, but I agree with you that they aren't boring; I find them fresh and genuine. Do you know Forever Shine On and The Final Curtain? So far, they are my favorites. Until next time!

Come on, come on... don’t get yourself down, no one is there with a magnifying glass looking for mistakes... a good review as usual, smooth language and plenty of information, the only thing, for my taste, is that there are too many "technical" references to other bands in proportion to the narrative part. The assertion that beautiful compositions should be found to best showcase Liv's voice, so unique and well-modulated, is absolutely valid. See you next time around.
