I honestly don’t mind this lightening of the sounds; the album isn’t bad at all, although it’s certainly not a masterpiece.

October 1981 - October 2011: 30 years later, albums like these in the Italian pop scene are just a dream... now we have Tatangelo and Jovanotti... what a decline.

I also have this collection on CD, it's not bad, but there are really only about ten tracks I like out of the total 20, and they are almost exclusively in the first half of the album. I completely skip the last 3-4 songs. If I had to choose my favorites, I'd say "Pictures of Lily," "I Can See for Miles," and "Pinball Wizard."

Can someone explain to me why 80% of women (I’ve even been conservative) want to watch exclusively 3 types of movies: 1. Cartoons; 2. Romantic comedies; 3. Movies with Johnny Depp (always commenting negatively after leaving the theater if it's a decent film)? Anyway, spending 10 euros for a ticket to see the Smurfs in 3D in this economic climate is truly a waste.

For those who love progressive, this is THE album. 5 with honors, special mention, and an academic hug.

The poker Remission-Leviathan-Blood Mountain-Crack the Skye is among the most amazing series of albums in the history of metal... this just feels like a bad joke to me, even though a decline is bound to happen sooner or later.

The "Touch and Go" label has released, among many others, the following albums: Butthole Surfers - "Psychic...Powerless...Another Man's Sac", Slint - "Spiderland", Jesus Lizard - "Goat", Polvo - "Today's Active Lifestyles", Shellac - "At Action Park", Don Caballero - "2", Dirty Three - "Horse Stories", Polvo - "Exploded Drawing", Dirty Three - "Ocean Songs", Don Caballero - "What Burns Never Returns", The For Carnation - "s/t", Bedhead - "What Fun Life Was" and Pinback - "Summer in Abaddon". Through the sub-label Quarterstick it has also released: Rodan - "Rusty" and June of 44 - "Four Great Points". A monumental label in the history of post-math-rock.

The first 45 seconds of "Lady Fantasy" contain the most epic-orgasmic drum section in the history of prog. The album is one of the peaks of 1974 progressive.

"Dear Prudence," "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," "Happiness is a Warm Gun," "Blackbird," "Rocky Raccoon," "Julia," the entire first side of the second LP are the best moments and are worth the purchase... and also "Martha my Dear," notice the sequence of chords that the good Macca lines up at the piano... Overall, I believe there are 6 useless tracks out of 30... a good average for a double album.
