There is no doubt that the first wave of Emo was born in the '80s, and it's also worth mentioning that the ironically referenced MCR helped fuel the modern emo flow with their early works. Yes, 80% of those who dye themselves "emotionally" don't even know what emo is, but getting back to Madina, they are a band with modern emo influences (which are so hated and overused), but they are still a decent band that has produced a respectable debut album... of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion!

If your thesis were true, every time the various James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich of Metallica threw shit in the face of a certain Mr. Mustaine, and I repeat a certain guitarist named DAVE MUSTAINE, they were right! But Mustaine, 20 years later, leads a certain group called Megadeth... as you can see, even sacred monsters like Hetfield and Ulrich can be wrong, so I think Cavalera can occasionally say things that don't correspond to reality; after all, no one is perfect, and Cavalera isn't either. It's his personal opinion that doesn't necessarily have to match the reality of the facts. There are alternative/emo/rock bands that deserve recognition, among which Madina can also be included, and I voted for them AFTER having listened to them...

...and then, if Cavalera says so... how can we not agree with him? Well!

Cavalera is a bit of an idiot and a sellout, as shown by his transition from Sepultura, a great Metal band, to Soulfly, a piece of crap Nu band with no head or tail. Yet he fits right in, in a sadly commercial group, so he’s a trend follower, or rather, worse, he’s a sellout.

Points of view, 4 stars can also mean a good album, nothing more. I've been thinking for a while about a 6-star debaser; in my opinion, it's a more selective method.

I'm sorry Cool, I agree with Crow... for me too, a 7-rated album can stand out if rounded up with 4 stars... for me, 3 stars is a CD that starts from a 5 rounded up to a 7 that struggles to round down (like I did for the Bullet) but it doesn't mean that a 7 has to be 3 stars for sure, it falls perfectly between 3 and 4 on a scale from 1 to 5 like the stars on Debaser... anyway, in the end, just small details, nothing more!

The album feels a bit "light" for my tastes; maybe I don't fully appreciate the style, but it seems to me like an album that's a bit empty.

Appreciable and genuine review. Oasis are one of my favorite bands, as my nickname indicates, but I have to admit that live they are not exceptional... still, great Gallaghers!!!
