Shinedown The Sound Of Madness

So, given that I am a fan of Shinedown, at first glance this album doesn't seem exceptional to me. In my opinion, the first "Leave A Whisper" is a notch above (maybe even 2) and the ballad "Burning Bright" from 2004 is better than the aforementioned "If You Only Knew," which is still quite nice... I don't feel, at least for now, like giving the CD more than a 3. PeachTree's comment is very sad.

Yes, 88 is indeed cute.

I know a rapper who knows him... trust me... as for the story that I don't get hip hop, well, that's not exactly accurate. Looking back at the review, it doesn't excite me either to be honest. I was 'pushed' by my rapper friend to write it; I don't want to name names because even Kaos might recognize him...

Dimmu Borgir In Sorte Diaboli (Deluxe Edition)

I, who don't know the band very well, didn't understand anything about the CD; a review incomplete and understandable only to those who already know the band well.

@ Pixies: Nickelback are really a case apart; they started out as a post-grunge/alternative rock band and have "lost" themselves in a rather badly made banal pop/rock (I personally gave their album 2/5, highlighting the banality of certain songs). So I wouldn't compare the latest Nickelback to this 3 Doors Down; consequently, I don't place the album in the melodic rock that Grant and I intended to represent. As for the first place of this 3 Doors Down, aside from the fact that it should be a first place in the rock chart and not in the global ranking, even if it were, it’s not a first place that changes the fate of a genre that sells 1/10, and I repeat, 1/10 of what hip-hop, pop, and R&B sell, at least in the USA...
