After some time, I give the album a score of 4, the same as the previous Neuromance, and the third album will be out soon.

Yes, the track by track is a bit boring precisely because the album suffers from too much longevity, however there are some nice tracks.

Yes, but we're tired of giving space to these people even on Debaser; this one boasts a review on Debaser, he doesn’t deserve it.

Great and bold review once again, Taurus. I give the album a 2 simply because, compared to the previous "I brought your..." and the subsequent "Black Parade," it didn't impress me much, to the point that I never gave it a careful listen... who knows, maybe one day I'll convince myself to revisit it.

Well, it's part of the game, but in the end, I don't care about the criticisms at all...

I've known The Ataris and So Long, Astoria since 2002, but I've never listened to the album in full. You've piqued my curiosity, and I mostly agree with you; the CD seems mediocre. I've always liked the single "Boys of Summer," and finding out it's a cover hit me a bit!

@FIDIA: you are partly right, for me it’s not to be dismissed but it's a 3+ review. However, since the “trust vote” is in fashion, I went along with it. Not because it's Oasis (whom I appreciate) but I'm really fed up with seeing comments and ratings from people who have never actually listened to the album. The bands being targeted just happen to be those that enjoy popularity; it seems that everything that plays on MTV or Virgin Radio is completely, utterly trash, and I can't stand that... listen first, then judge, but it's a lost cause and in these cases, I love losing!

But look how many people went to see the concert!!! So many votes for the live! You were all there, well done, you spend quite a bit of money for bands you appreciate, huh? First of all, the review is well written; even among the comments, there's someone who writes "Liam is a top-level musician" when in reality the reviewer says "Noel is the top-level musician," but these are minor details... you know I was there at the concert too, I was watching the live through telepathy, I have to admit I liked it quite a bit, not too much though, it could have been better. (Dark Schneider's comment is the more serious version of mine, at least two of us think the same way, good job Dark).
Atreyu Lead Sails Paper Anchor

Great review, it expertly explains the album. The rating of 3 is more than fair; there are impressive lows, particularly in the tracks you mentioned negatively, but there are also 3-4 solid songs. I've never listened to the early Atreyu, but I will, although I'm very familiar with promising bands that sell out to the majors (by the way, Roadrunner has already claimed many victims). In conclusion, this is still an acceptable CD; the title track is nice as well, and it might be the only slow song worth mentioning.
