For me, commercial indexes are a measure of the magnitude of talent??? And where did I say that??? Beautiful, you see that among my favorite groups are Soft Machine, High Tide, Balletto di Bronzo, Brainticket, anything but chart-toppers.

Marì, read better what I wrote: I said that Genesis have gone from the stars to the stalls, and that they are irrelevant to this discussion. The Pink Floyd, on the other hand, remain stars. I listened to La crus and they don't say anything to me; there's a desire to be original that falls into the pointless. I still don't understand why you brought up Genesis.

Mariaelena, why do you bring up Genesis? They are the example of how one can go from the stars to the stables, and they have no place in this discussion. Lord used to say that Pink Floyd, in terms of popularity, are only second to the Beatles, and that's not just his personal opinion but a historical certainty. And do you know how many bands that aren't even known are outshining these La crus?????
Francesco De Gregori Titanic

To me, "Titanic" strikingly reminds me of "Caro amico ti scrivo"... is it a coincidence??
Anyway, after Rimmel I find nothing interesting in De Gregori, the usual forced rhymes discourage me from listening..

it's not an insult, I just asked you :D
Yes Magnification

I meant "live" with an audience anyway, because otherwise my favorite live is without a doubt "Live At Pompei" :-)

Sure, you've praised the value of the texts, but what about the music? There are already other reviews of this record; at least try to say one more thing. This is not criticism; it's advice—don't be so sensitive. :-)
Dream Theater Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory

"which has drawn from the most extreme hard rock?" Rush, Kansas, RdM, etc...

You're right, it’s never talked about enough... and you could have talked about it more, indeed!
