Anthrax Fistful Of Metal

Anyway, Fripp and Wyatt have fewer merits than the others I mentioned.

Very few others (Stockhausen, Fripp, Wyatt)... You see that I speak of "inventors" and not "innovators."

I have no doubt that they haven't invented anything; after all, the title of "inventors" in music would go to very few (Barrett, Eno, Zappa).

Hi bjork68, I'm also here to say thank you for the compliments. In my opinion, not all thrash is garbage :-)

The only track that seems to hold up against the previous versions is "Come Together."
Sieges Even The Art Of Navigating By The Stars

The album is one of my favorites in the prog-metal field, and it undoubtedly deserves the highest praise. There are no questionable or self-indulgent elements like in the latest Dream Theater, they don’t get boring over time like the Flower Kings, and they're more introspective than Symphony X. But do you want to talk about the album??? You've only mentioned peripheral elements!

Ah! At least I've heard of these by name! Take that!

Better than your other review for sure.

As far as I know, this is material sourced from the Abbey Road archives, with overdubs and merges of multiple tracks together, done by George Martin and his son, under the supervision of Paul, Ringo, and the widows of John and George.

In short, an attempt was made to do something different to avoid making it seem like just a commercial operation, but this only partially succeeded: Eleanor Rigby in particular seems too messy to me, and I’m not fond of the various overdubs, and also the sound quality doesn’t transport me back to the magical '60s...
