And let's talk about easycure: I don't like this group, they say very little to me, what can I do? However, while other artists that I don't particularly like I consider to be authors of masterpieces, like David Bowie, Brian Eno, or Opeth, I believe that these cannot be praised that much, simply because I find them to be not very original and engaging. Regarding the forum discussion, for now I can only tell you that the albums from the 80s and 90s comparable to the many masterpieces of the '60s and '70s can be counted on one hand... that's where my 2 for this record comes from. Think what you want, but no further listening, no scaruffi, no easycure will change my mind... now I have things to do... we'll talk next time... bye!

Surely they would do me good, I have no doubt about that, but I repeat, you are not the omniscient one who can say how much and whether Crowley influenced Plant, nor can you put his lyrics in a corner by saying that all that matters in hard rock is the straight music, sex, and getting high... I repeat... if you are limited from birth, your experiences are of little use to you.

I called you superficial, and now I have neither the time nor the desire to read what Franci says, also because I've spent way too much time with you and I have an ongoing discussion with Easycure. In fact, I would end it here, saying only that I'm sorry for you if you consider the lyrics of Led Zeppelin to be of equal value to the lyrics of all hard rock. As for the music, it seems that you preferred to agree with me, or am I wrong?

You know that after your post about your mystical and philosophical experiences, I was re-evaluating you? Now I deduce that it’s not enough to have had experiences like that; if your brain is limited, they are of little use... if I had done them (oh how modest I am!) :-D

Well-structured? Yes, there was form, but the substance left quite a bit to be desired... a bit like your musical assessments... history mixed with the tastes of the critic of the moment... and can you evaluate? Or do you just limit yourself to saying "Dylan wrote Nobel-worthy lyrics and Plant sings like he’s at Sanremo"?

Ah good, I see you went to copy from one of your documents/orocolato: you remind me of a certain sylvian82, who hung on the words of American critics who made a ranking of the 500 greatest albums in history where Michael Jackson was ahead of Pink Floyd, etc... Furthermore, it confirms the fact that you read and don’t listen, or rather, you listen, and if it doesn’t match what you’ve read, you bow to the current critic... but that’s not the point. I can also accept that you draw lessons from what you read on Ondarock and bring them here; the fact is that one person alone wrote those things, and he is grossly mistaken, because ā€œmelodramaticā€ and ā€œtear-jerkingā€ are purely subjective definitions. The ballads of Led Zeppelin (and I’m always referring to the first four albums) are much more significant. I repeat, the he and she are just bait for those like you who don’t want to delve deeper and consider hard rock lyrics as trivialities. At this point, listen to them without Plant; there’s a program that removes the vocals from the tracks and leaves only the music; do you want the link?

No Christ, I'm not referring to that live... I have it and it seems that there's only "confessione"... I'm talking about another live at the VoomVoom club in November '71, of which I have the cover but I'm missing (sigh) the record!
