Of course, if you take Collage as a benchmark, there are really few albums that don’t come out diminished by comparison... however, without Bacalov, I don’t think Concerto Grosso could have been better.

In that song, I find an attempt to stand out from the rest, but it doesn't succeed, unless one is willing to accept every gimmick of the band as valid.
AA.VV. Gigantour
Voto:
I don't have this, but of course Nevermore and Symphony X raise the bar for this Gigantour, which would otherwise be too bland in my opinion. DT could have fallen back on their old repertoire, at least to please the fans, but they continue on this path which I find "questionable"... good for them. I still need to explore the rest, but I think I'll do it way later. Decent review.

Thank you cpt..you know it’s thetrooper, considering that you also speak to those "who are venturing into heavy metal today," wanting to approach it precisely with this best of, from this review they don't understand much about the individual songs. But come on, you only talk about music (in the strict sense) when you say that "2 Minutes To Midnight" has the copied riff, and then for someone who doesn’t know Maiden, they all sound like unreleased tracks, don’t you think?

Well, at this point, go ahead and accuse me of having a guilty conscience, but I would really like to know who you're referring to, cptgaio.

Is that all you have to say about a best of? I don't think so; if you want, I can direct you to my review of Relics, a collection by Pink Floyd, so you can see what I have to say.

Dear thetrooper, the review isn't really a review; it just states which tracks are present and which ones you think should have been included, along with glorious career, immortal band, and similar things. That's why it's a 1. I won't rate the album because it alternates nice tracks with other pieces that, while not terrible, are just copies of the others.
