Well, it's not that I don't want to say anything... certainly the credit for introducing the sitar into rock by Harrison would be somewhat diminished if it's true that the Yardbirds were already thinking about it 6 months earlier... however, nothing can be said with certainty, it would be like saying that the first to benefit from Shankar were the Yardbirds, but I don't think there are absolute conditions to say that.
