Okay, surfer, I’ll repeat myself, but knowing that I can talk to people who respect others is always a great RELIEF!! The world is full of fools, do we really have to go looking for them? Well, you see? Today I learned something new, namely that it’s possible, when submitting our own review, to stop the (mostly useless) comments from non-subscribers, GOOD, next time I guess I’ll follow mariaelena's example (even if this time she forgot to do it)... all this OT distracts us, the good sakamoto DESERVES MORE!!!!!!! Hey, guys, so, who is going to take on the task of reviewing "heartbeat," another great album???

surfer, you're opening a door wide, I think exactly like you do, every day I hope to connect with someone who can/wants to teach me something, and it consistently happens. I also have a friend who has been telling me for 25 years, "that's just how I am," it annoys me but we’re still friends! With this, I mean that for me too, being stationary and reluctant to confront and change one’s ideas (and I’m not talking about inconsistency) is not positive, but if someone decides to do so... well, I don't condemn anyone :=)

Well, Odra, in your conversation with Maria Elena, you have proven to be nothing short of CIVIL, it wasn't a joke, among all the many hydrocephalics who write here... :=)

for odradek: fortunately a TOLERANT AND UNDERSTANDING person :=)
for surfer: ... even the concept of improvement, you know, is debatable ... :=)

Indeed, it is very difficult to find a track on this CD that is of lower quality than the others! The album is from 1989/1990, I discovered it in '91, and I remember being impressed by its extreme compactness and richness of sound, even though musically it ranges from Asia to Africa to Europe/America, or anyway the Western world. Plus, Socrates, you who have both CD and vinyl, on the CD there's the unreleased "futique" that wasn't on vinyl, right? And it seems to me that piece was written for a video game! Great Sakamoto, he was in Mantova last night for the literature festival, but I found out too late, I would have loved to see him for the 5th time!!! :)

what I can't stand are the pointless insults, but why do certain people (or just one character with various nicknames) assume the right to spit on everyone and everything? if you don't like the review or the album, just bypass it and go away, right? sorry, fidia, I've been on debaser for a month or so, but ... what are the standards you're talking about? I'm starting to understand something, but I believe that the freedom to listen and to express one's thoughts is fundamental, just as it is essential to respect others' opinions. getting back to the point, the album is extraordinary, one of Sakamoto's best; I wore it out years ago! (mariaelena, "heartbeat" is the album - and eponymous track - following this one!), anyway you can tell you write with passion. :=)
