But why do you insist on trying to find At the Drive-In in us for no reason...

Interesting. And why this shift in style to something a bit less chaotic (yet still very much appreciated)?

Anyway, free jazz and psychedelia among the degenerates... seems a bit exaggerated to me...

Yes, but do you like the CD or not? You gave it two stars, so it seems to me that you don't, but it looks like there's no correspondence between the rating and the review. Maybe it's just my impression (and I apologize).

These are crazy good (and consequently little regarded within the scene, they deserve more attention...). I only have Orgasm and I find it exceptional, is Contentum on that level, manuè?

Material The Third Power

Bill Laswell remains a tremendous innovator, and the music of this Material project must be interesting from the little I read in your review... you could have described it perhaps a bit more in detail. Best regards.

I love all the work of the Mars Volta, but damn, if this follows the path of Amputechture I'll definitely enjoy it...

Great review, you really piqued my interest and that's good for me ;) I also agree with the small criticism you made about fusion, although what you say can be extended to a good part of musical genres. I believe that the term fusion is now overused (not just in jazz) and it no longer has very well-defined boundaries like it used to, when the blend of rock and jazz started being called fusion. Congratulations again, Jake.
