It's not about being alternative or not, but I would like to draw the attention of De.Utenza to this fantastic text... Farlo con te (Strappamutande): Every day of my life, I want to do it with you, do it only with you, when I think about your underwear I have to do it with you, do it now with you, I don't have time for poetry, I want to do it with you, do it only with you. Every day of my life, I want to do it with you, only with you.
I hope this love song doesn't appeal to women, who go out for the Strappamutande bed, because when you pass by me this is a leopard thong and not Leopardi, and I’m like a dog in heat I want to do it with you, I'm writing a song in heat not Dante's verses, because it reminds me of school while you remind me of vacations, because I know that when you pass by me I know it will be forever like my tattoos and I swear it before the Lord that I want to do it with you.
(Chorus)
Those who make you beg or I can't go out, damn that stuff that girls like, because when you pass by I can make you feel it without even touching you, and even in front of these ladies, I want to do it with you. I want this monogamy already thicker than an orgy, I don’t know how to play the piano but on the physical plane I take you every day like a multivitamin.
(Chorus)
In my eyes, you can't grow old, you will forever remain the same as that time on the staircase, on that day I received you at the altar. It’s that when I see you dance I become a maniac, and the music is not my nymph, it’s my nympho, because when you pass by me I turn back into a kid even as the years go by and I just want to unleash the hormone and do it with you, I want this monogamy already thicker than an orgy and I won’t go soft even this round of C, the songs come by themselves I DO NOT!!

Maximum respect and perhaps even more... But the Pied Piper of Nanto has never really appealed to me that much...

Here it is! This is the perfect example of how one can easily take the piss out of people and live off their wallets. To recap: J-Ax and D.J. Jad, a.k.a. Articolo 31 (not a random name), formed in 1990 and in their debut album ("Strade di città") there were serious, engaged, raw lyrics over great beats, and there was talent, yes... Enough to make you think that someone finally had the guts to spit in the face of all the crap that Italy was covered in. There were values... With their second album ("Messa di Vespiri") they let the world know that they enjoyed smoking some spinach (23 tracks, by the way, is a ton), an album dedicated to ganja and its derivatives, but it’s whatever... At home, everyone can smoke whatever the hell they want, as long as they don’t bother others... With the third album "Così Com'è," it all went downhill... The farce of the brothers, the pasta parties with rivers of beer and mustaches, the outskirts of Milan came to an end, money came in, and one could easily buy drugs without too much hassle or collections (Io Zak e la tromba is now a distant memory), the tranqui funky, funkytarro, funkystocazzo destroyed everything... The umpteenth bluff is served. J-Ax got rich, kicked the brothers to the curb for good, the drugs are there in abundance, so there’s no hassle since they deliver directly to your door (and the best stuff, not the crap from garden pushers), the albums kept coming, each one more disgraceful than the last, DJ Jad realized that there’s something called coherence and dignity (too late, though) and got out... And our little idiot continues to churn out mega-nonsense, only as J-Ax... And the worst part is that people keep listening to him. J-Ax had talent, he was an MC with balls, he came up with brilliant rhymes on the spot that left you astonished at what he could do when you threw a beat his way. J-Ax had talent and could have done great things, he chose the easy path; how can you blame him? If I ever happened to meet him, I’d love to have a chat to see how much crap has accumulated in his head, and then (knowing the answers already) I’d gladly slap him a few times in the face... Damn it... It’s mostly people like you, idiot, who are responsible for the fact that Italian music is drowning in steaming crap, and you’re one of the cherries on the cake!

Really nice cover, I don’t mind the single either, considering that they’ve always annoyed the hell out of me too...

It's always discussed VERY LITTLE.. One of the absolute greats. Perhaps he's the true King of Rock, even Elvis would agree.

@Matteodi.leonar.. If you think Nirvana is pure shit, don't worry, you're certainly not alone, or that Springsteen is just a banal craftsman and nothing more.. I respect your arguments, let that be clear.. Everyone thinks a bit about whatever the hell they feel like. But I invite you to reflect on one thing. At the end of the 80s, an "alternative" scene as you define it didn't exist, or rather, there was underground ferment, but the bands trying to produce something truly alternative to the sounds that, frankly, had really gotten on people's nerves, like Bon Jovi and similar, mostly played in damp basements or small clubs and were kicked in the ass.. After the explosion of Nevermind, the world was never the same again. That album contained practically everything that a generation of new musicians was trying to express; there was the "alternative" rock you mention, made up of distorted and off-kilter guitars that managed to create very pleasant things without resorting to solos and various conservatory virtuosity, there was pop, yes damn it, because Nevermind is also a pop album, that was its strength, having intelligently fused pop (understood as music for the masses) with aggression in the way of playing (Grohl's drums hit like a steamroller, and many said he couldn't even play, as we've seen later...). There were lyrics that reflected the frustrations and malaise of a generation on a global level. After Nevermind, realities emerged that until that moment could only dream of making records and concerts in front of thousands of people. Nevermind was one of the greatest revolutions in the music world, on par with the birth of hard rock. If it weren't for Nevermind, the music world would definitely not be the same now. Nevermind sounds current even as if it was released yesterday and will sound current even ten years from now. This was the greatness of the three junkies from Seattle.. There was something fucking genius about that man, in that band of just three people who together made a racket like the entire Slipknot.. Even though he wasn't exactly a genius on the six strings and didn't have, let's say, a "trained" voice. If thousands of bands in the last 20 years have emerged and succeeded, it's largely thanks to Nevermind, which gave anyone, with just three or four off-kilter chords, the chance to express themselves and write great things too.. Whether this is a good or bad thing is subjective.. Nevermind changed my life, while to others it looks like shit from melted bronze statuettes in the style of Rabarama..

Well... Not being able to understand the greatness of the "three junkies" from Seattle is not something everyone can do...
