Kraftwerk Radioactivity
Voto:
They were original, but also boring as far as I'm concerned.
Renato Zero Zerofobia
Voto:
The novelty of Renato Zero's ambiguity? Never listened to David Bowie, who was ambiguous seven years before him? It's fine if you like it so much (Renato Zero even repels me), but it's simply not true that it was a novelty.
Pink Floyd Relics
Voto:
Farfisa. Wright's organ is called Farfisa. It was made in Italy, in the province of Ancona. It's the one you see in "Pink Floyd at Pompei," during the studio shots. It's the organ that Ray Manzarek uses, it's the organ from "Light My Fire."
King Crimson THRaKaTTaK
Voto:
I "ditched" the KC after "Red", basically... what are the best things (from my point of view, the most melodic...) to have from the ton of stuff that came after?
King Crimson THRaKaTTaK
Voto:
More than normal tones from me, please... the review doesn't convey any teasing intent, at least according to my standards... good to know, though, sorry if I took you seriously. You see, I only give five stars to those albums that I truly like...
King Crimson THRaKaTTaK
Voto:
You love him because they have given you so much in other works and you are someone who cannot stand betrayals and/or feelings of guilt? The reasons you give for awarding him five stars are just smokescreens; I’m sure you don’t feel crazy or like a fool, at least not continuously. So start to dismantle the idol Fripp a bit and realize that he is a musician like everyone else, with his highs and lows.
Radiohead Amnesiac
Voto:
1) Radiohead whatever and 2) Reviews full of superlatives don't change my mind
Rare Bird Sympathy
Voto:
Alright Roby, listen to Sympathy (the song) as soon as possible. It’s very special, one of a kind.
Extreme Waiting For The Punchline
Voto:
With this album, Extreme have gambled away their contract and ultimately their career, as it lacks commercial appeal; there are no cheap tricks or ballads, just solid hard rock played live, with few overdubs, very raw and straightforward. Music for musicians, I would say, in the sense that a technical understanding of what happens in the tracks helps appreciate the great "punch" of this band, particularly the absolute RHYTHMIC skill of Nuno, an unparalleled rhythm guitarist. It is by far my favorite album by Extreme.
Alberto Radius Radius
Voto:
Radius is a rather modest guitarist and nonexistent composer, forget about Hendrix and Blackmore, we're on a completely different planet. He found himself in the right place at the right time, right between the sixties and seventies, that's all. Please.
