I'm just now reading your work. Brief but flawless. I find this group magnificent, original and... damn, you picked maybe their worst album! Too heavy, dry, and not varied enough. Praise to the great King's X.

Well done

Mmmmmh, for me it’s different. When it comes to personal tastes, I can talk about Guccini, De Gregori, Pausini, Mina, Morandi, and many others. Zero I see as a fake, a charlatan, an unpleasant figure.
Yes Tales From Topographic Oceans

I had the pleasure of seeing Yes at the sports hall in Rome in 1974, right after the release of "Tales." They performed three suites out of four, leaving out only the third one.

I'm with you, Zara; after all, we presented the same point of view for discussion, mine a bit more understanding, yours a bit more severe. I believe this album will truly only please die-hard Yes fans: at the time it was heavily criticized, and indeed they returned with "Relayer" to the format of "Close To The Edge."

Behaviour is my absolute favorite: it has a very "warm" and balanced sound, beautiful and varied songwriting, and three or four stunning guitar solos, true songs within songs. I discovered them in 1984 from the video "The Flyer" on Discomusic.

I only miss "Network" Mozart. My favorites are "Worlds Apart," "Behaviour," and "The Security Of Illusion."
Procol Harum A Salty Dog
Voto:
For musicians: "Salty Dog" begins with an augmented fourth chord, which moves down to the major third, then drops by a whole step directly landing on the perfect fourth, and then back to the major third before sliding into minor... seventh... it's a delight! Super easy to play because it's in slow, detached fourths. I'm not an expert in classical music; it might be taken straight from some composer of the past, but it's a wonderful harmony.
