Great job, and the clarification from Green is also spot on.

Right Floppy, so the sixth album by Boston will be released in 2010!

That "best living romantic harmonizer," as Tony can be defined, has for a quarter of a century thrown his talent to the winds in three-chord little songs, which is infuriating, very infuriating. Let’s go and download this seventeen-minute gem then; I’ll put it next to "Fading Lights," another remnant of Banks' art placed there at the end of "We Can't Dance"... Always impeccable Tiny, very good.

No, Collins is the sole soloist in "Free Bird," the notes in the album say so too.

I had the same experience with "Classix," I collaborated for Jethro Tull and Heart, then I was roughly called out for some supposed deficiency in the second work, and then screw it. Strange way to treat people who offer themselves for free.

You’re right, he’s the weakest of the GG. Unfortunately, the summary of pop is a format that made them lose a lot of their charm, without introducing actual commercial appeal.

Hi Precog. In the absolute masterpiece "Memories...", there are two acoustics: one is in the hands of Ray Shulman! They were great duets live as well ("Playing the Fool" included). Ray Shulman is someone who goes from bass to violin to trumpet to acoustic to recorder... what can I say? What a band!

Precog, know that after reading your work on the GG on MusiKbox, I rushed to buy the CDs of the Giants that I didn’t own (I had the first seven)! I've had a couple of chats with Anselmo, complaining that in my city the magazine arrives in fits and starts... Are you still collaborating with them? Right now I'm a bit annoyed because the major pieces (like the latest one on the Zepp) are written by a guy who is quite rhetorical and imprecise. One last thing, I don’t share your indulgence regarding the last phase of the GG: almost all the songs are weak; two stars is, in my opinion, the right judgment for "Civilian" and "For A Day". Congratulations to you.

Antonio and Senior: You are both right pointing out those two tracks by Jeff as fantastic. Personally, I’m crazy about a piece from "Guitar Shop" called "Where Were You," but the absolute peak of Beck for me is in "Brush With The Blues" from "Who Else!". A cheeky curiosity, Senior: how do you hold onto things like "Definitely Maybe" and stuff by... Ramazzotti?

Seen on this tour! At the "Altro Mondo" in Rimini, June 1976. I have the feeling that your source of information for the reviews on Gentle Giant is a splendid article from some time ago in a great music magazine called Musikbox...
