Curious choice to start with a review like this: about the album degustibus, but why review a work that you don't like first? Why approach the spotlight of Debaser with resentment and sarcasm, picking an album that doesn't resonate with you? I've never written a review, but many times I've thought about doing it when I listened to or re-listened to albums that moved me or struck me positively. Captatio benevolentiae? I understand that on Db, bashing is a popular sport, but I would have focused more on emotions or writing skills rather than on licking ass.

"It's a bit like worrying about stealing an apple from the greengrocer down the street while everyone is robbing banks." You won't get far with this strange thinking, in life I mean. Ethics are an absolute value, not a relative one. You have a ten-year-old daughter, if nothing else for her... That said, you convinced me with Anima Latina, I'll buy the album!

More than being discordant with the norm, you seem eager to be original at all costs, without any real understanding, by the way. You backed up your thesis with the fact that it's not an experimental album. But do you know that it was intentional to return to a rather dry and conventional style? Despite this, the absolute value of the work is not up for debate; however you want to categorize it, it's a work of exquisite quality. Anyway, de gustibus!

Artists a notch above all. They have opened various musical pathways and still today provide material to legions of musicians. Incomparable. There’s no argument about it.

Beautiful review, balanced and detailed. I got the album right away, I'm digesting it. Sir Paul is the greatest active musician, a walking legend of course!

A great review - detailed not just passionate - for an amazing live performance. Discovered by chance at the end of 2006, the first chords of Some Boots were enough to make me fall in love. Now I only lack the first self-titled album in my collection, but I can't compare them to anything I knew before or have come to know since. UNIQUE!

I haven't listened to the album yet, so I'm not voting. Dear MiciaTigre, can you provide some more info about "these constant guitar riffs"? You didn't delve deeply enough to explain your disgust. It makes me think you would have torn apart anything they played. Superficial. @Kosmogabri: right! You can't touch Corgan from the '90s! Balanced, the best, as always!
