Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness (Disc 1: Dawn To Dusk)

One of the most wonderful works ever conceived by humanity.. but my review was better =P

I also saw the Italian version.. and it didn't seem great to me.. especially in terms of visuals, it had a B-movie style. I hope to be able to see the other version.

But have you read the review?? How can a human being with an IQ above 30 think it's written SERIOUSLY?? :/

Well.. honestly, I would say you’ve discovered hot water! You’re stating true things, how obvious.. it doesn’t seem to me there was any need to say them. They’re amusing movies, nothing more, without pretensions.. they’re not films for cinema lovers, but for those who want to have a good laugh. By the way, it’s quite silly to think that De Sica has been making successful films for twenty years just because he knows the right people.. maybe he’s good in his genre, right?

Does Parasite remind anyone else a bit of Subterranean Homesick Alien by Radiohead (or vice versa, to be more precise)??
Giovanni Allevi Live

Contemplation.. Allevi's case is different; Allevi is in the charts, he goes on Costanzo's show, he acts like a fool, and that's what you can't stand, pushing you to give a negative judgment that has little to do with his music. I can't stand Costanzo either; I would never go on his show, but if someone goes there and pulls wonders out of the piano, it doesn't mean they turn to crap just because they're playing on that stage.. what the heck! :)

It's obvious that on this site you have to spit on anything that isn't "underground" enough.. as far as I'm concerned, I don't have Allevi's albums, but every time I've heard him play, he's moved me.. he even managed to do it while improvising short pieces on the Constanzo Show.. and being able to feel emotions while watching that walrus with a mustache doesn't happen every day! =)

Fabrizio De André Rimini
Voto:
In my opinion, the true greatness of De André doesn't lie at all in his most famous songs, which mostly belong to the very early period of his work, but in all the great albums he created, particularly in the grand concepts of the late sixties and early seventies. These, along with the final masterpiece Anime salve, represent the peak of his discography. This doesn't diminish the fact that even an album like Rimini, which is slightly below those peaks, is rich in beauty and poetry. Ps; I have often read that Andrea speaks of a homosexual love; if I'm not mistaken, it was De André himself who said it. Honestly, listening to it, I would have never thought so.

For once, a nice duplicate!! :) Even though for me the true masterpiece of Nirvana remains In Utero.
