I don’t know, I didn’t really like the review. I mean, it’s not really clear what you think of Guccini as a whole. Anyway, I agree with your judgment: Guccini has been on a downward spiral for several years now. His decline actually started in the '80s, punctuated by the stunning "Madame Bovary" and some absolutely unmissable songs like "Venezia." Then I got to see him live at the Anfitatro and found it pathetic. He seems like a ghost of himself. It makes me really sad. Anyway, I won't rate the album because I don’t have it, but if it’s true that most of the songs are taken from "Fra la via Emilia e il West," it shouldn’t be that bad.

The album is really beautiful. This CD is my favorite from SOAD. Now... better to let it go. Axl is just an idiot.

Well, in my opinion, there’s nothing more wrong than living in the past. I know many people like you who hate the present that surrounds them and wish we could return to some sort of past "purity." I also sometimes make the same mistake as you do. But the fact is that we are now here. Nostalgia can sometimes be a dangerous harm. Of course, everything has already been written. Even in literature, it's extremely difficult to create something original. For several years now, music has been living through a rehashing of already well-trodden genres. The important thing is that all of this doesn’t fall into banal plagiarism but instead is modified and personalized, making it, in a sense, original. Anyway, aside from that, I liked the review, even though you can see the eagerness with which you wrote it.

they weren't even themselves anymore. might as well change the name. they were the ghost of themselves. that's why I refrained from buying the latest albums by Yes. I would suffer too much hearing them reduced like this. nice review.
