Rubber Soul is a nice album, but I still hear too many remnants of the previous era, which is anything but extraordinary (and Ringo's song is terribly out of place). Abbey Road is currently my favorite of the (few) Beatles albums I’ve listened to. Was there really a need for this duplicate?

The X have always intrigued me quite a bit, but I prefer the subsequent Under A Big Black Sun, where the compositions are much more heterogeneous and draw more from the 50s. I wouldn’t hesitate to give that one a 5. Cervenka, if I’m not mistaken, was also the wife of Viggo Mortensen (you know, the one from The Lord of the Rings and A History of Violence).
