What do you think? I don’t know, I’ve always seen it as a praise of communes in the most "dated" sense of the term. That episode had bothered me a bit. I definitely should rewatch it.

The analysis of the rece is impeccable, but I think that some moments (for example, the one where they go to the commune) show that not all the criticisms directed at them are unfounded.

But why does such a beautiful album, compared to which many others that get a 5 would score below zero, have to undergo such treatment? A review that... well, it speaks for itself, and ratings given at random (giving 5 to Hotel California and 1 to this, as Stipe did, who clearly doesn’t even know what he’s talking about, deserves the death penalty...).

here they were still very raw and the songs are quite flat (even more ruined by an extremely low recording). the only truly successful ones are True men don't kill coyotes and get up and jump. fortunately, after that, they will hit their stride and up until Blood Sugar they are extraordinary. Flea may not be Les Claypool, but the fact remains that the rhythm section of the Red Hot is excellent. basically, I agree with everything Senmayan said. conclusion: I could have spared myself this comment...

I'm afraid you'll tear me apart, but I truly believe it deserves a solid 4, not a 5. Even though I know every song on the album by heart and in the smallest details, Battisti went on to produce much better and, at times, astonishing works (for example, Anima Latina, which I only recently discovered and is now among my top 15 albums in Italian music). Anyway, my favorite here is undoubtedly Non è Francesca: "Ti stai sbagliando chi hai visto non è/non è Francesca/Lei è sempre a casa che aspetta me/non è Francesca/Se c'era un uomo poi/no non puo' essere lei."
