James Cameron Terminator 2: Il Giorno Del Giudizio

The review seems excellent to me, the 5 of the film, on the other hand, leans a bit toward 4.5...certain themes could have been addressed better (the man-machine struggle has offered, offers, and I believe will continue to offer insights).

It's hard to tell where reality ends and the mockery begins XD Absolutely brilliant. I won't rate the album for obvious reasons.

The review seems to me to be concise and effective. The film is a masterpiece of the '90s and, in my opinion, an inspiration for many subsequent productions of the genre (none reaching its level, of course), the first name that comes to mind is Saw. A great merit of the director is also, in my opinion, his ability to create a perfect setting for the story, with an atmosphere that feels unreal.

Cute review just like the film. @Il_Paolo I wouldn't kick Zellweger out of bed.

No no, that one only has a tear-jerking title; The Ship Song, Nick Cave.

In my opinion, the album is a 4 leaning towards a 3. It hits hard, but you can tell that everything is rather unripe, and sometimes a bit dull (the vocals in particular). The review says some things right, but certain sentences are poorly constructed. That said, for what little they've done, they don't seem that underrated; after all, they've released something like three full-length albums and a few EPs.

But what ignorance?? Now, if someone only knows Chaplin and Welles, are they considered ignorant? As you said earlier, there’s also other cinema ("minor"..?), and stripping it of artistic dignity is intellectual fascism. It’s true that the classic is always a masterpiece, but in my view, a masterpiece doesn’t always have to be classic.

@Poletti: but how can you even want to make a "technical" speech for a film like this? I repeat, if it's Welles you're looking for, it's clear that this is not the place. "To make you happy, I’ll say that Jim Carrey in this film is even better than Charlie Chaplin in 'City Lights,' so you’re happy." What kind of provocation would that be? It doesn't seem to me that anyone here has tried to make such an unfortunate comparison between realities from vastly different realms.

Poletti, find me a character of this kind better characterized from the '90s onwards.. Then what’s the point of criticizing this film in terms of plot, screenplay, etc.? It certainly didn’t aim to be the new Citizen Kane, but it’s undeniable that its purpose is different and quite evident. As for the comparison with Jerry Lewis, I would say to avoid the mistake of thinking "the genius is only the one who invented the brush."
