You won't believe it, but I've only seen the remake; I don't remember the circumstances... what can I say, really forgettable, just a good Jean Reno (but wasted) and a beautiful girl like Rebecca Romijn.

But I don't understand, if the review is yours, why didn't you post it yourself cptgaio? Anyway, your profile is quite a mess, I don’t have anything on mine.

I know them, I know them, the doubt was rather because only I know them... apart from the aforementioned exceptions. I mostly know Zen Arcade and New Day Rising; I've already expressed my thoughts on the former elsewhere, while I need to listen to the latter more closely. Today, which is a shit day that couldn’t be any shittier, I pulled out Zen Arcade. I really like it.

@Ugly Panda: this year I turn 23. I don't think all of those who posted below are in their forties. @Fedee, Scaruffi, and Wikipedia I took for granted since I probably belong there too and I don't even know it.

I personally have also been close to straight edge (I don't know if it's a breaking instinct or a need for belonging). Personally, given the context in which it was born, I see nothing reactionary about it; in fact, even today I see it as a rather progressive stance. I don't see any connection with far-right fringes that undoubtedly exist in the vast world of hardcore. I think that episodes of pseudo-squadrist violence and intolerance in a movement that was born committed like straight edge are marginal, or at least I hope so.

The reviewer knows what they are talking about, explanatory and in-depth page; an author and work of great importance, an institution not only in the comic book realm but also culturally. It's been ages since I last read them.

Alright, you "opened your heart"... I don't think the work in question needed any further discussion anymore.

I’ll start by saying that I like them, but there’s something curious: I’ve never heard of this group except here and on OndaRock, never heard anyone mention them, at the bar, online, never. And both here and there, it's big words and fancy terms that get thrown around.
