Post-grunge, well, it's a somewhat vague term like almost everything these days when it comes to music. But it fits, and this album, if post-grunge means anything, is definitely post-grunge. I listened to it a bit when I was about 15, and I have a good memory of it, nice songs. Definitely not a masterpiece, but not bad for what I remember.

Another thing that leaves me perplexed is that probably if he had done "Carry On" Volume II he would have made double the money and it would have been a huge success. Mystery...

Ludovaika, however, you must consider that on this page there are people who have been following Cornell for ages and have made all the possible excuses for him; it’s not like we all come from the mountain of soap XD You’re stating some big truths, I don’t know how genuine Cornell was, but regardless, it’s still a failed experiment. There were a thousand different ways to do more or less the same thing (and maybe "get closer to pop"), and they managed to bring out the worst imaginable, which is Timberlake’s foundations that seem glued to some, let’s say, "songs" that I have no doubt would have worked well enough on their own. Anyway, I read your mega-post in a review of Luci della Centrale Elettrica, really enlightening, especially the detail about citationism as a practice of post-modernity; if it’s all your own work, you’re brilliant.

@SoraLudovaika: your comment of the century, RESPECT! I also enjoyed reading your personal profile; what can I say, you're a tajo. Anyway, I would have preferred a traditional album; that would have suited me just fine. I think he would have liked it too.

Ah, this is a great record, true heavy metal nice and dirty and raw, with that Spartan sound not yet in the Eighties.

I liked it, of course, a well-crafted album and also somewhat stylized, but really a notch above many others.

I've already expressed my thoughts on the work, it's fundamental. The review is also very nice without being too cerebral, which I appreciate. But is "91" your birth year? Five years ago, I don't think I would have written this well... you have clear ideas.

Now we break even when they aren't duplicates? I've only listened to a few songs by this guy, intrigued by the other reviews on Debaser, and this one contributes too.. I'd like to listen to it more closely. A very good proposal and page.

For me, we are not a generous people; we are just a bit gullible and very susceptible to demagoguery. People who might adopt a child from afar then vote for Lega Nord. If we want to have a sociological discussion, perhaps this is more appropriate.

PS I really like the reviews by primiballi.
