"... Ashi darling, exalt me too, exalt me, so strong, strong, that I like being whipped with a little whip! Come on!" Ok, if someone is looking for me, they can find me here: Recensioni di blechtrommel

Well... for me, these "remakes" are almost always crap. Anyway, I really miss Teutonic thrash, should I explore it further? Who knows.

Cute (a lot) and pretty good too, from what I remember back in the day. Now I wouldn’t know. Nice voice, though. About the "alternating": I don’t know, some people seem to be able to afford it.

You are hyper-neutral and fill your posts with insults like "merdal" and similar... what do you mean that prejudice was put in you by circumstances? Did your parents listen to metal and abandon you? No, let's clarify, we’re talking about heavy metal and not hardcore punk, they are two different topics, two weights, two measures: Voivod are a "plus" in metal because they are not archetypal, they are already "other," as are "other" three thousand groups more or less "evolved," not obviously on a qualitative level. In hardcore and punk, the discussion is different. Then, regarding prejudice, by your own admission, you are free to have them, you are also free to be offensive, but then you risk writing things like "Max Cavalera is the typical one who appeals to the average metalhead, etc.," "the let's love each other at all costs of the genre" (which, in these terms, is also incorrect), which makes no sense at all.

Yeah, now thanks to the fact that he's short on ideas... he's also 40 years old and has a twenty-year career behind him. And in the latest Soulfly, there are definitely more interesting ideas than in the latest release from any band with a lot behind them. Offensive in tone, yes, someone who expresses himself with "merdal" and similar nonsense. Moreover, without being prepared on the subject... the true heavy metal IS the rough guys like Iron Maiden, Slayer (even if I or others might prefer different ones, no doubt), the Voivod are already a "more." Your criticisms really smell of prejudice.

Since the climate is favorable, I pick up where I left off... as promised, listened to, appreciated, and commented on. A record that is quite enjoyable, dirty, violent, and brutal; it didn't disappoint me.

The sacher is good....oh my, it’s been ages since I had it!

Franci, I'll try not to be offensive in my tone like you in the post above, but know that you're very much mistaken... Max Cavalera's discography spans a much broader spectrum compared to many other heavyweights in the field, never losing its essence and always maintaining its own coherence. But in the end, who cares, the genre is what it is, and that's how it should be. If someone wants variety and experimentation, heavy metal isn't the genre for them. Just like punk isn't, at most, hardcore, but even then I would have my reservations. And perhaps, in the end, not even rock. Then the "let's be nice" vibe is more like Iron Maiden or some overly polished group, it's certainly not Max Cavalera.
