It was meant as a joke, I know the editorial isn't fetishistic.

Fetishist editorials, fetishist reviews, fetishist comments... what a time, where will we end up? Forget about Reverse, if Blechtrommel were to arrive.

"Intent," not "I mean," obviously.

I liked it, I appreciate the intent to delve deeply into this artist, who, in my opinion, is very easy to love or hate "instinctively," but much less easy to understand. Still, if I were you, I would have included the true story of Marlin Manson and John Cinque; it's a serious omission in the review:

Well, that's the crappiest metalcore there is... there are also Hatebreed, who can be labeled as metalcore even though they don't have a single melodic hint. Your definition is at least questionable, Alì Murtacc.

It's not exactly my favorite Metallica album, but it's definitely the most iconic. Great review, who cares about the duplicates? It's certainly not one of those childish ones that usually rain down.
Megadeth Endgame

I've been listening to Megadeth for a short time, but I like them, at least the classics: this one, just like the latest from Slayer and Metallica, I guess I'll skip. Over time, Megadeth have perhaps remained the most consistent among the "Big Four," despite the sharp return to their roots by Slayer and Metallica in their last two releases. They haven't kept in shape like Anthrax and Slayer, flirting with more modern sounds—grunge and crossover for the former, and hardcore and metalcore for the latter—without losing their essence, but at least they've been somewhat dignified. Definitely better than the unlikely last releases from Metallica.

Behind this type of work, I finally perceive a scene, a context, something that could also be the "sound of the 2000s." I sense substance, but also a glance at the past and innovation, without sterile experimentalism. Great recommendation as well as the review.

What a speech this is about Contemplation... it practically talks about an important if not crucial genre, defining it as "little stuff," then corrects itself by citing a supposed subjectivity of the commentary that isn't being read, and then corrects again in light of his exceptional critical skills that allow him to provide an objective judgment on a genre that I would dare to call one of the "main" ones. Kind of like "The pyramids, yes, little stuff... don’t take it personally, but I’m an engineer, and I can tell if something is done well or poorly." I didn't like it! Anyway, if I were you, to quote a great one, I would aim for the "muscular pretty boy" and let go of both punk and jazz... lucky you that you can afford it, right?

Yes, but what sense does it make to compare politics to personal tastes? The former has utilitarian and materialistic implications; the latter may have some, but they are of a nearly inscrutable nature... I mean, I agree with your reasoning, but it seems silly to liken politics, an area where one can descend into crime and sometimes aberration, to personal tastes which cannot violate the law or infringe upon the rights of others. I agree, there should be basic respect for everyone, but there are double standards: judging a Nazi for his ideas is different from judging someone just for listening to Zucchero. @Franci: I wanted to go see him, but given your experience, I doubt I'll find him around here either...
