It's a little gem.. During my grunge overdose period, this was (and still is) one of the happiest moments, because it's one of a kind. Well, they say that Cornell wrote the album pretty much by himself, but I’m not fully convinced of that.. The arrangements clearly seem to have an Ament/Gossard touch..

Well, lately the indie scene in England encompasses everything... Fortunately, there's a bit of filtering on the myriad of ultra-derivative new new wave English bands, as (thankfully) various groups "stop" at just the British circuit! Anyone who's recently been to London and frequented venues that showcase "INDIE" music must have noticed the thousands of semi-unknown bands covering the Clash and passing off the songs they play as their own... There are those born in Brescia and those in London... My band and I had bad luck :)

Fantastic disk... a fun, carefree, and crazy cocktail just enough... the game of acoustic guitars and acid distortions has rejuvenated the garage. A thousand times better than Dinosaur Jr? Well, to each their own... And who cares what came out that year, the Pixies have their own language to express indie (what a drag this label is, I won't use it anymore!). Come on Pilgrim STUNNING, Doolittle a bit mannered...

Well… I've seen them live about 15 times, a few years ago… maybe because they played every week in Brescia and the surrounding areas… you would arrive at a beer festival and voilà! there they were… And I had a great time…
