For now, I'm here... hoping not to be too overwhelmed with university during that time... I'm trying to find more precise information on the Point Ephemere website, but I can't find anything...

Please tell me it's not true... Did I read that right? "extraordinary artist"? "masterpiece"? Come on, even a 4-year-old would be able to recognize the emptiness of this guy. He has not a shred of talent, and it’s sad that people like him and Kooza-Britney and other horrors thrive and become billionaires, while true artists with something to say remain unknown to most. And then, according to you, the fact that he is the co-author of 4 pointless little songs makes him a well-rounded artist. Aside from the fact that I don’t believe his contribution went beyond choosing the title, what would his other talents be? Can he sing? Can he dance? Can he play an instrument? Not that I know of, he’s just a puppet... how sad :(

God, how is that even possible??? Have you ever listened to a serious music record?? The fact that he co-wrote only 4 songs makes him a well-rounded artist in your opinion???? Please do a favor to your ears and start listening to music that actually means something. J.M. is a miracle, he doesn’t have a shred of talent. We live in a world where people like him and Paris Hilton thrive and become billionaires, while "real" artists are starving. Does that seem right to you?? And you even wrote a positive review!!!!!!!

I really like this record, especially Samson and Field Below... maybe I preferred the previous one, Soviet Kitsch. She comes out of the conservatory, and you can tell: she has an extraordinary performance technique and can truly do anything with her voice. Great review: well done.

ok ok I'm here...I didn’t understand. I don't think another review is necessary, especially since I would like to take a different approach from yours but I'm not sure I could maintain it. Let me explain better. I have always thought that this album was a concept about a love story, something that is clearly suggested by the album title and the way Lisa seems to hint at in some interviews I've read. The dynamics of the album in this sense seem quite clear to me: at the beginning, there's the sweetness of falling in love (Baby On The Plane), in the middle of the album there's the crisis ("I love you cause I hate me" - Forget It It's A Mystery), and at the end, there's a kind of rebirth ("Big Big World"). I recognize that this is an interpretation that suffers from excessive schematization, but even though I adore this work, there are aspects that still elude me. I still haven't fully made it my own, at least from the perspective of the message and the concept, because from a purely musical standpoint it’s immediate, like all of Lisa's works. That said, I believe your review does a good service to the album. Perhaps I’ll delve deeper and study the album a bit better and create a review that analyzes it from my point of view...who knows...(assuming my analysis is correct; maybe I'm just rambling!)

Ugh, I would have liked to write the review of this album myself. It would definitely have come out differently (I think it's sort of a concept too, although certainly more colorful than the previous one), but I'm not sure if it would have been better. Having said that, I didn't quite understand your comments on the comments (the score of 5 is what you gave the album, right? the editors have nothing to do with it, and Marioo’s score isn't very high and is, in my opinion, a bit low) I admit that the review is very nice and appropriate for an album that I adore. I agree with what you say regarding "Forget It, It's A Mystery" (which perhaps, among Germano's tracks, is my favorite), even though maybe mixing terms like "purgatoriality" (which, if I understand what you mean, is definitely spot on), "elegiac pattern," and the SMS abbreviation "cmq" is at least a bit risky. The result is "cmq" excellent.

Hi Mario, thanks for the comment and the rating...I have the same records you have, and a few months ago I bought her second album after the breakup of 'Til Tuesday, "I'm with stupid," from 1995. It may not be as good as this work, but in my opinion, it is slightly better than Bachelor and the last one. The lyrics are still fantastic, and some songs are truly instant knockouts (Long Shot, It's Not Safe, Amateur). Highly recommended...maybe I'll write a review one of these days.
