It's not an affection for a song, Tabba; it's different: I mean, Nirvana or the Sex Pistols were certainly not masters, but how many young people have identified with them over the years? Of course, I DO NOT want to make pointless comparisons here, but the same reasoning applies a bit to Oasis; as I've said several times, when it comes to certain things, technique takes a back seat. That's how I see it, but you're obviously free to say and think whatever you want...

Oh no Trucido, this is where you're wrong; it's true, Oasis think of themselves as the best, the greatest, etc., but they certainly don't pretend to be something they're not like Ligabue does with rock or Green Day does with punk... In this, I believe they are damn sincere. Anyway, I repeat to Tabba that I'm not discussing on a technical level but on a level of feelings and memories that Oasis bring to the surface. That's why I enjoy listening to them, because in their way of making music and behaving, I and countless others see ourselves reflected.

As they say, the truth lies in the middle: Dave Grohl is a badass musician, particularly a great drummer; of course, after the breakup of Nirvana, he turned his career around: what should he have done, continue to live and profit off the image that the band had built, especially thanks to Kurt Cobain? No, he made the right choice, he moved on and created a good band from scratch, nothing transcendent but definitely a good band, in my opinion not too commercial and with some interesting ideas.
