I fully subscribe to Hal's analysis. A brave and difficult album that didn’t enchant me until after countless listenings. Even today, if it happens to catch my eye, I rarely put it on the player, always preferring it to more immediate works. However, if the mood is just right, the satisfaction is considerable.
