I agree with you Perez... I really like this album too, a perfect blend of rap and metal, even though compared to the first album, the guitars are less distorted and Fred screams much less... Great tracks like "Nookie," "Break Stuff," "Nobody Like You" (damn, there's Jonathan Davis!), and "Trust"... Nu is not dead (shitty bands like Linkin Park and POD don’t even count as nu metal, they’re just crap, far from what nu actually is) just like genres like black or death aren’t dead, but that’s a long discussion I've had many times and frankly repeating it bores me... Perez, I noticed you have pretty much the same taste as me, so go to the "music" section of the forums and look for the forum "it's just nu metal" (it was made on September 5, 2004) and vote for your 3 favorite nu albums, make sure you do it... Bye!

Poddo, I see you've changed your mind, huh? Honestly, I prefer Iowa... If this album had been made by another band, my judgment of it would have been more favorable because this is not an album you expect from Slipknot... Anyway, they always prove to be a great band because they wanted to change style and show that they can do more, naturally exposing themselves to a huge risk; after all, if they had made an Iowa 2, everyone would have judged them as monotonous and lacking in ideas, so the risk was there anyway... The first time I listened to it, I was really disappointed, then it took me a bit to appreciate it... In my opinion, Corey has an amazing voice, but in this cd, he missed the mark with the scream...
