First of all, I want to reiterate that Korn are one of my favorite bands, and to label them as 'commercial' (especially on this album) you really have to know very little about them. Apart from the fact that these are opinions that can be both widely agreed upon and disputed, you can find phrases like this only after his second album, Mr. Simpatia, where there was a notable change in Fabri's rap. Listen to his first album, Turbe Giovanili, and you'll notice the difference, considering there are also some very beautiful love songs included. As for the idea that this is a concept held by rappers in general, well, I can't say for sure, because I can't generalize, but let's say it's a concept shared by other rappers as well (especially Americans).
