Sevendust Seasons

I didn't say I know them superficially. I have all their albums and I've listened to them all; it’s just that I haven't delved much into Home and Animosity (also because I didn't like them very much, aside from a handful of good songs). And, I repeat, honestly I don't see much innovation in Sevendust's sound, which has always relied on the same characteristics. As for Coal Chamber, they are indeed very derivative of Korn (especially in the riffing; for the rest, I don't see many similarities), but that shouldn’t be a reason to label them as 'terrible' a priori, especially since I think they've released three excellent albums and are among the pioneers of nu metal.

Yes, the only album I've listened to enough by Sevendust is Seasons, which I actually quite like. Next disgusted me almost immediately, I listened to the latest Alpha and it didn't say anything to me, I listened to the ones before but not too much let's say, there are a handful of nice songs for sure, but I don't notice substantial differences. For me, Sevendust no longer has anything to say right now, even though Seasons remains a nice record.

Ah, one more thing. <<(even though he can scream like a madman)>> No no, Lajon doesn’t scream, the screamer is the drummer ;)

Alright, I also consider it the best album by Sevendust. A good record ("Enemy" is fantastic), although for me Sevendust will always be a "UEFA Cup" band. The review is good as well, although I don’t agree that Coal Chamber is terrible (on the contrary..) or that Sevendust is an 'innovative' band (I don't see much difference between their albums, except for the first one, which is rougher). A 3.5.

Come on Daft, a bit of humor! I understand that life is tough, especially yours, but give yourself a smile every now and then. And come on, a little originality; you've used 'bimbominkia' and 'ritardato' too many times already, it's time to refresh yourself!

Furthermore, Beethoven heavily uses growl, while Mozart prefers clean vocals.
Marc Rizzo Colossal Myopia

Legendary Rizzo when he played live with Ill Nino always with a backpack on his shoulders and wearing an Inter shirt :D

The first half is good or at least decent, the second is really boring. Ugly album, lacking personality. The new HSB rocks!
