Yes! I would have liked to write this review myself... but my laziness held me back. No big deal: this one is well done. - Did you know that originally "Demons & Wizards" was conceived as a double album? They ended up splitting it in two, and the second LP became "The Magician's Birthday." In my opinion, though, this is a notch above the (rightfully) celebrated predecessor. - "Tales" is magnificent: the subtle and wavering Moog touch in the background is spectacular... "Sweet Lorraine" is fun and catchy. The title track and "Sunrise" are great as well. - I don't quite share your opinion on Bernie Shaw: I think he's the best singer the band has had after the departure (and some years after the death) of Byron. Still, they’ve had a total of five (6, if you count the brief presence of Steff Fontaine), and everyone, rightly, has their favorites. - Congratulations again.

Another great job from you… once again, my compliments. I've heard quite a few people speak highly of "Present." I wanted to ask if the style is more similar to the first period ('69-'71) or the subsequent one ('71-'78)… For the record, I prefer the latter.
