Well, the album seemed a bit flat to me, the usual angry sounds, the usual drums with double pedal in abundance... after a while, these things get tiring. Plus, the singer's growl isn't exactly exhilarating. And anyway, I don't see all these influences (Black!??), it seems like Metalcore or at least Melodic Death Metal to me.

I must preface that this is the first DT I’ve listened to; the band seemed subpar to me: 1) The bass lines follow the guitar, nothing compared to the great Cliff Burton. 2) The guitarist doesn’t seem up to par at all: the riffs, sharp and fast in Metallica’s album, are slowed down and made much less impactful; let alone the solos, completely changed from Hammett’s precise and sharp ones to longer and more monotonous solos. 3) The keyboard could fit in some songs, but the keyboardist seems to be absent. Lastly, I find the singer scandalous: what kind of voice is that? Pathetic. Anyway, I repeat, I don’t know the band well, and I’m too accustomed to Metallica, but to me, it seemed subpar.

If you had read my review carefully, you would have understood what I said. Linkin Park are the connecting link between Pop and Metal; with their catchy melodies, they attract kids who listen to Pop, bringing them into the world of Metal, and that is commendable. I also started with them, I'm not ashamed of it, but now, after getting to know dozens of other metal bands (not just Nu Metal), I've realized that they suck.

Yes, _dila_, convinced, as if they were the first to blend rap and guitar riffs... just to avoid mentioning big names, given your inexperience in metal, Limp Bizkit came before LP... and now what do you say? Linkin Park = Pop with some first-year guitar strumming and castrated screams.

The review isn't bad, but you speak well of it and then give it a 2. I can't stand the group, it's cliché and repetitive, and I don't see all these influences (Guns N' Roses, Nine Inch Nails, come on!).

An album beautiful as its cover (tacky but stunning)

So, I like the review, but that "a track that moreover makes it clear where people like Rammstein come from" (with two r's) really doesn’t sit right with me. Okay, the riff of Just One Fix was practically copied and rehashed in Du Hast, but I believe there’s a big difference between Ministry and Rammstein (not that the latter are inferior, in my opinion).
Iron Maiden A Matter Of Life And Death

Well, I think the album is terrible: long, wordy, Dickinson sounding like a castrato, the Hammond used haphazardly, and bass arpeggios (just to show how "good" Harris is) and a pointless guitar arpeggio at the beginning of every song. The only track I save, paradoxically, is Different World, not outstanding, repetitive but at least in Maiden style, given that with this album they have shown that it’s better to repeatedly recycle the '80s riffs than to come up with weird stuff.
I don’t like the review: biased, predictable, not adding anything new. And a piece of advice: you can't respond to every single comment you get, or you'll be labeled right away (if you haven’t been already) as a human case. I won't rate the review. Off Topic addressed to all users: what happened to the ultimate human case, the "great" Korn?
