THE REVIEW

When a guy, who primarily listens to Blue & co., is introduced to a Linkin Park album as a Metal album, he listens to it and thinks, "Wow, if this is metal, then I like it!"

Then, as he deepens his knowledge of LP, the masses composed of many boys like the one above divide: there are those who think they need to deepen their knowledge of Metal and its derivatives, and thus, eventually, understand that Linkin Park really suck; and then there are those, unfortunately thousands of people, who remain attached to Linkin Park thinking that it's the best band in the world.

And this is the credit of LP, who pass off their Pop sounds as Metal, attracting thousands of people. I'd like to first analyze the band: the drummer is acceptable, even if his rhythm is always the same, the bassist and guitarist perform easy tasks since the songs have very simple and repetitive riffs. Then there's the DJ or whatever he does, who basically either scratches with the record or relies on his synthesizer. Then there are Chester and Mike, the first screams and shouts, but doesn’t scare anyone, the second, with his raps here and there, gives a bit of personality to the pieces performed. Among the proposed tracks, some from their first album, one from the second, and previews from the third, stand out "In the End," certainly the best track composed by LP, P5hng Me Aw*y, the only one from "Reanimation" and perhaps the most successful of the live itself, and some from "Meteora," like Somewhere I Belong and Faint.

In general, the other pieces are very short, (they do not exceed three minutes), they are aggressive and banal, demonstrating that the band has not made improvements compared to the first album, perhaps the band's best.

This Live In Texas is the last resort of a band that... has already run out of ideas.

The downfall of this group was the remix album and the one with Jay-Z... they lost the gleam of musical coherence they had.

This concert is truly great because it conveys emotions and above all a lot of energy, thanks to the passion put in by all the musicians.

"Pushing Me Away" is the best song on the album because it shows a melodic side that is not for this reason cheesy of the band.
