The Cult Hidden City

I've always adored the Cult in all their facets, from the new wave of Love to the hard rock of Beyond Good and Evil. I've just started listening to this latest one, and it seems slightly inferior to the last Choice of Weapon from 2012, an album I loved immensely. Anyway, it's well played and crafted... and Astbury's voice is always something unique to me. Great review, well done!

When I read something about Les on the homepage, the 5 kicks in by default. It's an album I literally burned through for weeks upon its release. I should note that I read in an interview with Les from those times that El Sobrante Fortnight was completely improvised with Mirv and Jay (lyrics included) and recorded in one take... beautiful stuff. You're amazing as always.
