A big thank you to everyone who read and/or commented! @oceansize: about the Rage, I read that the tracklist for this album was supposed to include a song by Tool and RATM ("Can't Kill The Revolution") that was later removed. What a shame. @sfascia: I agree with you, Helmet + HOP totally rock. @Lethe: it may not be an epoch-making masterpiece, but I didn't mind that song from the Anthrax - Public Enemy pairing...

I agree with you: this is a true masterpiece. However, I wouldn't define "the crowd" as a rockabilly piece (not at all). And in "bad town," there’s the sax, but it doesn't seem enough to call it jazz...

my favorite is Aenima, but still, there are gems here too: "the grudge," "parabol/parabola," and "Lateralus" are masterpieces.

the first "bad guys" of Italian beat; However, poor Alfredo met a terrible end: they forgot him in the van (parked under the sun) and he left his feathers there!

Well, I agree with you; I don't reject any topic a priori; in fact, I'm always interested in exploring perspectives different from my own... however, it's also fair to engage with the message that the work communicates to you and possibly disagree with it. Anyway, I also listen to reggae, where often Rastafarianism takes on tones of true fanaticism; but, even though I don't share those ideas, I like the music and the style. The group in question may have negatively impacted me because, on first listen, they seem to mimic the Cure, contaminating it with a background that is completely foreign to those atmospheres... maybe if I had a friend with a car who repeatedly plays their music for me, I would gradually come to appreciate them too :D

I am aware of the difference between having faith in the church and the clergy and having faith in God; in fact, I would never dream of condemning a believer simply because I am an atheist. But the fact is that listening to music of this kind gives me the unpleasant feeling that there is a more or less hidden attempt to, I won't say convert me, but at least influence me with certain ideas. Perhaps I am also biased, but to me, Christian rock in general seems nothing more than an appendix of the usual ecclesiastical proselytism...

You're right, it's a matter of taste. Personally, I have an innate aversion to anything that could be defined as christian rock (or christian metal). I can't even say I'm unfamiliar with certain anti-clerical positions I've developed over the years after various personal experiences. Obviously, such a group doesn't sit well with me. I had already heard something from them some time ago, and I didn't like their music, even though I knew nothing of their "philosophy." Then I read this review (which, I reiterate, is very well written), and having framed the group, I couldn't hold back from pouncing on it. Anyway, everyone is free to listen to what they want, and I don't want to judge anyone's listening choices.
